摘要: A CI signal of a V.8 protocol is transmitted in response to the reception of a DIS signal indicating the provision of a V.8 facility, and the V.8 protocol is executed in response to the reception of an ANSam signal of V.8, and when the DIS signal indicating the provision of the V.8 facility is received without receiving the ANSam signal, the CI signal is retransmitted. When a transmitting station or a receiving station does not have a V.34 facility after the V.8 protocol, the DIS signal indicating the non-provision of the V.8 facility is transmitted. Thus, when the V.8 protocol facility is provided with a facsimile apparatus, communication with a conventional apparatus having only a T.30 protocol is attained.

摘要: When a plurality of pages of image data are combined into one page of image data for transmission, the direct combination of the image data having different resolutions and the resulting recording of the image data on one record sheet while the image is partially expanded or reduced are prevented. In combining two pages of image data into one page of image data for transmission within a range in which the number of read lines of read image data does not exceed the number of available lines for recording per page at a transmission destination terminal, if the read resolutions of both image data are equal, the two pages of image data are combined into one page of image data for transmission, and if the read resolutions are different, the combination is not conducted and the image data of the respective pages are transmitted as the independent pages of image data. A facsimile apparatus minimizes the possibility of transmission disable due to a full state of a memory when a plurality of pages of image data having short sub-scan lengths stored in the memory are transmitted. The image data acquired by reading a document sheet by a contact sensor 13 is compression-coded by an encoder 103 of a read/write codec device 10 and it is stored in an image memory 6. After a plurality of pages of image data having short sub-scan lengths have been stored in the image memory 6, the image data are combined into one page of image data on a communication protocol and it is transmitted to a transmission destination apparatus through a modem 17 and a network control unit 18. When it is detected that a remaining capacity of the image memory 6 is small, the combination transmission of the image data is canceled and the image data stored in the image memory 6 is immediately read and transmitted.

摘要: In a data communication apparatus, when performing a calling operation, an image transmission speed is assigned using a CCITT nonstandard reception command NSS after transmitting a dial signal, and the NSS is repeatedly transmitted at a predetermined time interval. Upon reception of a reception-preparation-confirming signal transmitted from an apparatus of a communication partner, a command, an identification signal and image data are transmitted at the image transmission speed based on information relating to the communication partner's apparatus which has been stored, so that the time required for communication procedures is shortened.

摘要: Remote data entry is performed in such a manner that a plurality of entry items and a plurality of data items are caused to collectively enter within one communication and the check sum is calculated simultaneously with the data entry so that abnormality of the data is easily detected even if the contents of the entry data are changed due to the abnormality occurring in a facsimile apparatus. Data is collectively stored in a receiving buffer and a great quantity of data is caused to remote enter if the capacity of the buffer permits. After all remote data entries have been completed, the check sums of all entry memory regions are performed so that the memory capacity of the program code of the check sum is saved.

摘要: In a method for gathering a ring shaped wire rod, particularly a wire rod made of steel, the wire rod is continuously conveyed and gathered in the form of a coil by means of a gathering apparatus including a gathering tub and a coil plate. In accordance with the present invention, the lowering speed of the coil plate is controlled in such a manner that piling position of said rings is always within a predetermined range. In addition, the ring shaped wire rod is dropped, while imparting a movement having a horizontal component to the ring shaped wire rod so as to increase the filling ratio over that of the prior art. The coils gathered in the present invention are more compact than in the prior art.

摘要: The present invention provides a powder for a magnetic member being excellent in moldability and difficult to oxidize, a powder compact produced from the powder, and a magnetic member suitable for a raw material of a magnetic member such as a rare earth magnet. A powder for a magnetic member includes magnetic particles 1 which constitute the powder for a magnetic member and each of which is composed of less than 40% by volume of a hydrogen compound 3 of a rare earth element, and the balance composed of an iron-containing material 2 which contains iron and an iron-boron alloy containing iron and boron. The hydrogen compound 3 of a rare earth element is dispersed in a phase of the iron-containing material 2. An antioxidant layer 4 having a low-oxygen permeability coefficient is provided on the surface of each of the magnetic particles 1.

摘要: A soft magnetic material is a soft magnetic material including a composite magnetic particle (30) having a metal magnetic particle (10) mainly composed of Fe and an insulating coating (20) covering metal magnetic particle (10), and insulating coating (20) contains an iron phosphate compound and an aluminum phosphate compound. The atomic ratio of Fe contained in a contact surface of insulating coating (20) in contact with metal magnetic particle (10) is larger than the atomic ratio of Fe contained in the surface of insulating coating (20). The atomic ratio of Al contained in the contact surface of insulating coating (20) in contact with metal magnetic particle (10) is smaller than the atomic ratio of Al contained in the surface of insulating coating (20). Thus, iron loss can be reduced.
