    摘要: An electronic ignition timing control system for an internal combustion engine which comprises a rotational angle detector for detecting a rotational angle of the engine to produce output pulses, a reference angle detector for detecting a reference rotational angle of the engine to produce a reset pulse, an ignition angle computing circuit for converting by interpolation the advance angles corresponding to principal points of engine parameter address into the retard angles from the reference angle to produce a first output signal indicative of an angle corresponding to the rotational angle of the engine and a second output signal indicative of the delay time corresponding to an angle smaller than the first output signal value, a first comparator to digitally compare the first output value of the ignition angle computing circuit with the number of the output pulses of the rotational angle detector, and a second comparator to convert the second output value of the ignition angle computing circuit into a time period whereby the instant that the conversion is completed is selected as desired ignition timing.

    摘要: An intake air amount detecting system includes a branch pipe disposed in the intake manifold of the engine and having two passages each provided therein with a temperature responsive resistor. One of the two passages is provided with an electric heater and a voltage is applied to the electric heater so that the temperature difference in the two passages measured by the two temperature responsive resistors is maintained at a predetermined value irrespective of the amount of air flow through the intake manifold. An A-D converter is further provided and includes a time constant circuit and a capacitor for producing across the capacitor a reference voltage which has a waveform representing a predetermined relationship between the voltage applied to the electric heater and the amount of intake air flow. The voltage actually applied to the heater is compared with the reference voltage at a voltage comparater in the A-D converter and the A-D converter produces a pulse signal having a time width corresponding to a period from the rise of the reference voltage until the reference voltage reaches the actual voltage, and hence corresponding to the amount of intake air flow.

    摘要: A thermally-sensitive resistor is positioned in each of two separate passages provided in the intake pipe of an internal combustion engine, and an electric heater is positioned upstream of one of the thermally-sensitive resistors with respect to the direction of flow of intake air. The thermally-sensitive resistors form, along with two reference resistors, a bridge circuit which converts the difference between the resistances of the thermally-sensitive resistors caused by the electric heater, i.e., the difference between the temperatures in the passages to a voltage difference. A control circuit controls the voltage across the electric heater in such a manner that the said voltage difference is maintained constant and thus the amount by weight of intake air can be directly obtained. The input voltages to the thermally-sensitive resistors are applied in the form of pulses through an oscillator circuit thereby reducing the problem of drift of the bridge circuit.

The digital hyperbolic function generator thus constructed generates a hyperbolic function of polygonal line approximation the gradient of which changes for each fixed time interval with a high accuracy, and the operation thereof is stabilized against the change in ambient temperature because the circuits are constructed by digital elements.

    摘要: A road surface detecting device has a rotary sensor for detecting the passage of teeth formed in an outer surface of a circular plate at regular intervals, which is connected to an axle of a vehicle and rotates thereabout, and generates an output signal pulsing every time when said teeth pass the rotary sensor. The output signal is inputted to a microcomputer. The microcomputer calculates period variations of the pulsing output signal and an average value of a predetermined number of the period variations. When the average value is not less than a predetermined value, the road surface is determined as being in a bad condition and when the average value is less than the predetermined value, the road surface is determined as being in a good condition; when the average value is less than the predetermined value and the most recently calculating period variation is not less than a predetermined period variation, the road surface is determined as being a rough area on a good road.
