摘要: Oxotitanium phthalocyanine nanoparticles in the crystal form of phase-Y (Y-TiOPc) having particle diameters of 2˜4 nm, preparation, and applications thereof are disclosed. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing a concentrated sulfuric acid solution of TiOPc with water or dilute sulfuric acid, or water or dilute sulfuric acid with a surfactant dissolved therein, or an aqueous solution of a low molecular weight organic compound to form a suspension or hydrosol; adding into the resulting suspension or hydrosol chlorinated hydrocarbons to extract TiOPc into an organic phase, so as to form a colloidal solution of Y-TiOPc nanoparticles; and then, washing and drying the above nanoparticles to give rise to a powder of the Y-TiOPc nanoparticles. Such a nanoparticle powder can disperse in chlorinated hydrocarbons to form stable colloidal solutions, thereby providing an alternative approach for solving the problem of poor dispersibility for Y-type TiOPc.

摘要: Embodiments herein provide a membrane that is a product of a phenol crosslinked with one or more compounds containing an allyl group. The phenol may be electropolymerized with the allyl-containing compounds to form the crosslinked polymer. Suitable allyl-containing compounds include allylphenol, allylalcohol, allylamine, and allylcarbamide. A membrane may have one type of allyl-containing compound, or, alternatively, two or more types of compounds. As used in an analyte sensing device, a membrane formed from a crosslinked phenol may provide improved interference exclusion, peroxide response, stability, and/or solvent resistance.

摘要: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of non-coding small RNA molecules that regulate gene expression at the post-transcriptional level by interacting with 3′ untranslated regions (UTRs) of their target mRNAs. The invention relates to the application of miR-192 and miR-215. Both of these miRNAs impact cellular proliferation through the p53-miRNA circuit, and interact with dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) and thymidylate synthase (TS). Particularly, upregulation of these miRNAs reduces cellular proliferation. The invention relates to this discovery. For example, inhibiting miR-192 and/or miR-215 sensitizes a neoplasm or a subject with a neoplasm to chemotherapeutic agents. Furthermore, measuring the levels of miR-192 and/or miR-215 provides one with information regarding whether the neoplasm or subject will respond to chemotherapeutic agents. Accordingly, the invention relates to composition and methods relating to the identification, characterization and modulation of the expression of miR-192 and miR-215.
