摘要： An electronic camera of the type having an image pick up for generating electrical image signals representing a received optical image, a recorder responsive to a record control signal for recording the image signals on a magnetic medium, and a shutter release operable to carry out a recording operation whereby the image signals are recorded. A standby switch, separate from and operable independently of the shutter release, functions to condition the recorder to carry out the recording operation upon subsequent operation of the shutter release. A separate recording switch is actuated by the shutter release for causing a record control signal to be supplied to the conditioned recorder, whereby image signals are recorded on the magnetic medium.

摘要： An automatic assembling apparatus includes a pair of parallel conveyers for transferring carriers, each carrier having four chassis and parts to be assembled on the chassis; a plurality of assembly stations, each having a movable table on which various assembling operations can be performed with respect to the carriers; a carrier loader associated with each assembly station and movable between a first position in opposing relation to the movable table thereof and a second position in opposing relation to the conveyers, and having a pair of chucking stations in opposing relation to the pair of parallel conveyors, respectively, when the carrier loader is at the second position for simultaneously feeding and discharging the carriers to and from the conveyers and in opposing relation to the respective assembly station when the carrier loader is at the first position for feeding and discharging the carriers to and from the respective assembly station; a plurality of stopping members associated with respective ones of the assembly stations for selectively stopping carriers adjacent respective ones of the assembly stations; and sensing elements for detecting the presence of the carriers on the pair of parallel conveyers for controlling the stopping members in response thereto so as to selectively stop carriers adjacent respective ones of the assembly stations.

摘要： Multiple grooves are formed along an inclination face of a prism-like part. A pitch of the grooves is smaller than the wavelength of light, specifically infrared light, used as a light source for detecting an ink amount. When sufficient amount of contained ink is consumed to expose the prism-like part, ink on the inclination face is held in the grooves due to their capillary force. At this time, if an amount of the ink exceeds the capacities of the grooves, no capillary force acts on the excessive ink. Accordingly, the excessive ink becomes an ink pool and slides down to an ink surface. Since the face provided with the grooves at the pitch smaller than the wavelength of the detection light source serves as a plane face optically, detection with high reliability is made possible.

If it is a media type, whether or not the storing medium has been loaded into the PD is discriminated. If it has been loaded, the received contents is recorded into the PC, also transferred to the PD, and recorded into the storing medium in the PD. If it is not loaded, the user is urged to load the storing medium. Since the recording of the received contents into the PC and the recording into the PD are automatically executed, there is no need to individually execute those processes.
