    摘要: An active matrix liquid crystal display having improved reliability. Pixel regions and a peripheral driver circuit are integrally packed on the display. TFTs forming the peripheral driver circuit are located inside a sealing material layer on the side of a liquid crystal material, thus protecting the peripheral driver circuit from external moisture and contaminants. This enhances the long-term reliability of the peripheral driver circuit. Pixel TFTs are arranged in pixel regions. The leads going from the TFTs forming the peripheral driver circuit to the pixel TFTs are shortened. This results in a reduction in the resistance. As a result, the display characteristics are improved.

    摘要: An acoustic feedback suppression apparatus includes an amplitude measurement section for measuring the amplitude of a sound signal input from a microphone, an amplitude attenuation section for attenuating the amplitude of a sound signal output to a speaker, and an acoustic feedback determination section for determining whether or not acoustic feedback is occurring based on the sound signal input from the microphone. If it is determined that acoustic feedback is occurring, a sound-deadening control section enables sound-deadening control so that the amplitude of the sound signal output to the speaker is attenuated to a sound-deadening level. A sound-deadening release section releases the sound-deadening control if the amplitude of the sound signal input from the microphone is more than specified threshold amplitude and if it is determined that acoustic feedback is not occurring while the sound-deadening control is conducted.

    摘要: The present invention provides a communication system. When the audio signal in the wide band is input to a wireless microphone, the wireless microphone performs a balanced modulation processing to invert the frequency spectrum of the audio signal and transmits the audio signal with the inverted frequency. When a speaker apparatus receives the audio signal transmitted from the wireless microphone, the speaker apparatus cuts off a frequency component of the received audio signal in the frequency band of the infrared radiation noise produced by the external apparatus (infrared radiation noise band), performs a reverse balanced modulation processing to invert again the frequency spectrum of the audio signal having the frequency component in the infrared radiation noise band cut off, and outputs the audio signal with the frequency spectrum inverted again.

    摘要: In a liquid crystal display (LCD) device, two continuous frame image data to be displayed on a display unit are compared with each other by a comparator circuit, and horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals are regulated in accordance with a comparison result. That is, when the two frame image data coincide with each other, the horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals are not output to the display unit through the controller, in order to decrease the number of scannings of frames to be displayed. Also, when the LCD device has a backlight unit and two frame image data coincide with each other, the backlight unit is turned off.

    摘要: In an LCD projector or other projection type display apparatus which uses a lamp such as a xenon lamp for a light source, the lamp is cooled efficiently without increasing ambient noises or without causing the whole apparatus to become large-sized, and at the same time the lifetime and the reliability of a fan which cools the lamp is made improved. When fans 3 and 4 which are disposed on a front side of the lamp mounted with a heat sink 1 rotate, external air of ordinary temperature is taken inlet and guided into ducts 5 and 6 so as to be blown onto the front face of the lamp by means of the fans 3 and 4. Then, high temperature air which was warmed by being blown onto the lamp is exhausted from an outlet to the outside.
