Abstract: Provided is a carbon dioxide capturing apparatus comprising: a reaction tower including a carbon dioxide adsorption unit or a carbon dioxide absorption unit which adsorbs or absorbs carbon dioxide from exhaust gas; desorption tower connected to the reaction tower and including an adsorbent heating unit for heating an adsorbent circulating inside or an absorbent heating unit for heating an absorbent circulating inside; an adsorbent or absorbent which circulates in the reaction tower and the desorption tower and alternately adsorbs and desorbs carbon dioxide or alternately absorbs and desorbs carbon dioxide; and a heat exchange unit which desorbs carbon dioxide from the adsorbent on which carbon dioxide is adsorbed or the absorbent in which carbon dioxide is absorbed, through heat exchange between the adsorbent on which carbon dioxide is adsorbed and the heated adsorbent, or between the absorbent in which carbon dioxide is absorbed and the heated absorbent, wherein the adsorbent on which carbon dioxide is adsorbed and the heated adsorbent, or the absorbent in which carbon dioxide is absorbed and the heated absorbent are transferred in a co-current flow manner.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a N2,N4-diphenylpyrimidin-2,4-diamine derivative, a method for preparing the same, and a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of cancer, containing the same as an active ingredient. The derivative shows a relatively weak EGFR activity inhibitory effect on wild-type EGFR, a high inhibitory ability on EGFR mutation, and a high inhibitory ability on even FLT3 and FLT3 mutation, and thus, can be effectively used for the treatment of cancer with EGFR mutation or cancer with FLT3 or a mutation thereof, and the derivative shows a synergy effect at the time of combination administration, and thus can be effectively used for the treatment of combination administration.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a method for producing high value-added compounds from polyethylene terephthalate. More specifically, the present invention demonstrates that a monomeric terephthalic acid obtained from the chemical hydrolysis of polyethylene terephthalate can be converted to high value-added aromatic compounds and aromatic-derived compounds, and ethylene glycol, which is another monomer of polyethylene terephthalate, can be converted to glycolic acid, which is a cosmetic material. The present invention is characterized by recycling polyethylene terephthalate waste into high value-added compounds.

The porous material includes a (M)-2,4-pyridinedicarboxylic acid coordination polymer, where M is a divalent metal ion selected from the group consisting of Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Mg, and combinations thereof. The coordination polymer has a one-dimensional pore structure and shows reversible soft-crystal behavior. The porous material may be a Mg(II) 2,4-pyridinedicarboxylic acid coordination polymer (i.e., Mg-CUK-1). The methods of the present disclosure may also include one or more steps of releasing the sorbed H2O from the porous material and reusing the porous material after the releasing step for sorption of additional H2O from the environment.
