    摘要: The present invention discloses a welding system, particular a welding system using an inert gas in order to provide an oxide free fusion zone, where the object to be welded has a first side and a second side, said first and second sides being opposite sides of the object to be welded, where the system comprises: —a first wagon, in use suitable to be arranged on a first side of the object to be welded, where said wagon comprises means for remaining on the surface of the object to be welded, and being able to travel on the surface of the object to be welded, where a first welding device is arranged in connection to or on said wagon; —a slave wagon, in use suitable to be arranged on a second side of the object to be welded, where said slave wagon comprises a tub, said tub having an upper rim adapted to the contour of the object to be welded, and where further a gas inlet is provided such that a suitable gas may be introduced into the tub, and where the slave wagon comprises means such that in use the rim of the tub on the slave wagon may remain proximate the second side of the object to be welded, and where means are provided for moving the slave wagon such that the tub is superposed the fusion zone on the object to be welded.

    摘要: A robotic welding system comprises a supporting arm for attaching to a repositionable support structure, the supporting arm comprising a first mounting portion connectable to the repositionable support structure, and a second mounting portion rotatably coupled to the first mounting portion. A yaw rotary actuator rotates the second mounting portion about a yaw axis. A welding arm comprises a third mounting portion rotatably coupled to the second mounting portion of the supporting arm. A pitch rotary actuator rotates the third mounting portion about a pitch axis generally perpendicular to the yaw axis. A roll rotary actuator rotates a torch holder shaft about a roll axis generally perpendicular to the pitch axis. The shaft has a torch mounting portion for mounting a welding torch at an end thereof. A controller is operably coupled to the actuators to cause the welding torch to execute a welding pattern.

The power supply unit includes power supply electronics and a power supply housing sized and configured to house the power supply electronics. The power supply housing includes a base face and an opposing upper support face. The wire feeder unit is detachably engaged with the power supply unit. The wire feeder unit includes a welding gun hose connection port sized and configured for connection to a welding gun hose. The wire feeder unit further includes a wire spool and a wire feeder housing. The wire spool is attached to the wire feeder housing. The wire feeder housing has a bottom face and an opposing top face, and the wire feeder unit is detachably engaged with the power supply unit with the upper support face disposed adjacent the bottom face.

    摘要: A friction stir welding apparatus includes: a rotating shaft, on which a thread for friction stirring is formed; and a drive unit rotatably supporting the rotating shaft. A rotating shoulder configured to rotate together with the rotating shaft to generate frictional heat between the rotating shoulder and back surfaces of workpieces is fixed to a distal end of the rotating shaft. The rotating shoulder is pushed against the back surfaces of the workpieces by a pushing mechanism. A stationary shoulder penetrated by the rotating shaft and configured to hold the workpieces in a sandwiching manner together with the rotating shoulder is non-rotatably mounted to the drive unit or a member connected to the drive unit.

    摘要: An induction heating system includes an induction heating head assembly configured to move relative to a workpiece. The induction heating system may also include a temperature sensor assembly configured to detect a temperature of the workpiece and/or a travel sensor assembly configured to detect a position, movement, or direction of movement of the induction heating head assembly relative to the workpiece, and to transmit feedback signals to a controller configured to adjust the power provided to the induction heating head assembly by a power source based at least in part on the feedback signals. In certain embodiments, the induction heating system may also include a connection box configured to receive the feedback signals, to perform certain conversions of the feedback signals, and to provide the feedback signals to the power source. Furthermore, in certain embodiments, the induction heating system may include an inductor stand assembly configured to hold the induction heating head assembly against the workpiece.
