    摘要: An apparatus for end correction of an automotive tire strip member comprises a conveyor belt for conveyance of a tire strip member consisting of rubberized steel cords to a tire building drum, which conveyor belt is narrower than the strip member, a supporting plate disposed under the conveyor belt and adapted to support the belt, a guide plate extending in parallel with the lengthwise axis of the conveyor belt and disposed above the supporting plate and on one side thereof in such a manner that it is driven to advance and retreat with respect to the conveyor belt, and a magnet disposed below the supporting plate and toward one side thereof in such a manner that it is driven to advance and retreat with respect to the conveyor belt.

    摘要: A method for continuously feeding tire constituent materials in a tire fabricating machine includes the steps of positioning a second material truck holding a new roll of material at a standby location at the rear or to the side of a material feeder as aligned therewith, holding a trailing end portion of old rolled material being used for the tire production on a first material truck disposed in the material feeder before the material being used is consumed, delivering the first material truck when empty to the front, the side or the rear of the material feeder, transferring the second material truck holding the new roll of material into the material feeder from the rear or the side of the material feeder, delivering a leading end portion of the new rolled material on the second material truck once disposed in the material feeder up to a preselected position, splicing the trailing end portion of the old material being held to the leading end portion of the new material along a location where the respective end portions overlap with each other while releasing the trailing end portion, and successively repeating such steps. The present invention is also drawn to apparatus for carrying out the above method.

    摘要: An apparatus for sticking a tire component member (a cord cloth with rubber) having cords inserted therein at a predetermined bias angle and having its opposite ends cut respectively in parallel to the cords into a fixed length onto a forming drum upon manufacturing a rubber tire. This apparatus comprises a belt conveyor containing attracting means therein for receiving the cut tire component member and conveying it to the forming drum, widthwise positioning means for correcting a position in the widthwise direction of the tire component member on the belt conveyor by holding the tire component member from its both lateral sides, and front end and rear end reshaping means adapted to butt against cut edge surfaces at the front end and the rear end of the tire component member for correcting the shapes of these cut edges. Since positioning and front and rear end reshaping of the tire component member are effected on the belt conveyor, when the tire component member has been sticked onto the forming drum, the front end and the rear end of the tire component member can be aligned at a high precision, and so, the quality of the finished tire can be improved. The sticking step for the tire component member can be perfectly automated and a production efficiency can be raised.

    摘要: An apparatus for positioning a pair of sheet guides for guiding a conveyed sheet therebetween. A pair of operation cylinders moves the pair of sheet guides toward and away from each other so as to contact the sheet. A pair of preset blocks is supported onto a screw rod including portions having mutually opposite threads thereon so that they are engaged with the corresponding opposite threads so as to move toward or away from each other along the screw rod according to the direction in which the screw rod is rotated by a motor. Each preset block includes a radial engagement protrusion. A positioning cylinder is provided to each sheet guide. The positioning cylinder includes an actuated piston which is engaged with the radial engagement protrusion at its protruded position to position the corresponding sheet guide at the desired position.
