摘要: Disclosed herein are an operation support unit, an operation support system, and an operation support method capable of supporting operation of a printer with reliability and stability. A suppression factor that is suppressed is set according to a control mode, and a plurality of control objects for the printer, effective in suppressing said suppression factor, is allocated as a control group. Then, a set of data that is under printing conditions nearly coinciding with the present predetermined printing conditions is collected from among a plurality of data sets in which printing conditions, printing-quality information, and mechanical information are correlated. Next, for each suppression factor, a principal axis component which represents the distributed characteristic of the collected set of data is set as a characteristic line for the control objects selected as said control group, and control quantities for the control objects are set based on the characteristic line in order to suppress the suppression factor.

摘要: In an ink film thickness control method, second ink film thickness distribution, corresponding to an image on an old printing plate, on a minimum first ink film thickness distribution formed on the surface of an ink roller group and required during printing, is removed for a predetermined one of printing units thereby leaving the first ink film thickness distribution. Which one of pre-inking I mode and pre-inking II mode is to be performed is set for each printing unit. The minimum first ink film thickness distribution required during printing is formed on the surface of the ink roller group of the printing unit set in the pre-inking I mode after a new printing plate is mounted in the printing unit set in the pre-inking I mode. The second ink film thickness distribution corresponding to the image of the new printing plate is superposed on the first ink film thickness distribution. For the printing unit set in the pre-inking II mode, the second ink film thickness distribution is formed simultaneously on the first ink film thickness distribution which has already been formed. An ink film thickness control apparatus is also disclosed.

摘要: An inking fountain for a printing press, preferably for a high speed flexographic press, includes an ink applicator and a pre-inking applicator. In the pre-inking applicator, the roller is partially immersed in ink, and thereafter encounters a pre-wiper element, which is closely spaced from the roller and has a leading surface arranged at an angle for forcing ink against the roller surface. A knife is arranged at the leading edge of the ink applicator, for interrupting the boundary layer of air on the roller prior to the roller surface entering the fountain cavity. Within the cavity, which preferably includes baffles, ink is fed and applied to the roller surface. Excess ink is scraped from the roller surface, by a reverse angle doctor blade, as the roller leaves the cavity. In such manner, the press can be operated at high speed without starvation or foaming of the ink, as in conventional systems. Also, a cleaning system is provided for readily washing the press at the end of each run.

摘要: A method for regulating the flow of a viscosity-dependent liquid in a graphic process, including a pump (5) configured for pumping a viscosity-dependent liquid (3) from a first container (4) and to a graphic printing machine (1), and wherein the viscosity of the liquid (3) affects operation of the pump (5), a sensor (8) connected with the pump (5) and which is configured to measure at least one of the operational parameters of the pump (5), and a controller (9) connected with the sensor (8) and which is configured to analyze the data from the sensor (8). The controller (9) determines the viscosity of the liquid (3) from the measured operational parameters of the pump (5) and generates a control signal (17) from the measured viscosity, based on which the viscosity of the liquid (3) pumped through the pump (5) can be adjusted.

摘要: A method controls the coloring of a printing press. In the method a test element is printed with a number of colored measuring areas. The printed colored measuring areas of the test element are then measured. Actual colorimetric values are calculated from the measured color values and then displayed. Reference colorimetric values are entered and adapted spectral color values are calculated. Densitometric, colorimetric, or spectral actual tonal values or actual tonal value gains are determined from the calculated actual colorimetric values of a subset of the colored areas of the test element. The densitometric, colorimetric or spectral reference tonal values or the reference tonal value gains are entered and adapted spectral color values are calculated by a comparison with the calculated actual colorimetric values. The adapted spectral color values for the calculation of color profiles, process calibrations and process control values are stored and the printing press is activated.

摘要: In an ink film thickness distribution correction method in an ink supply apparatus including an ink fountain, a plurality of ink fountain keys, an ink fountain roller, an ink ductor roller, and an ink roller group including at least one ink form roller, the throw-off operation of the ink form roller positioned at the end of the ink roller group is performed during test printing or final printing. The ink feed operation of the ink ductor roller is stopped during test printing or final printing. The ink roller group is divided into a plurality of roller subgroups during test printing or final printing. The ink in some roller subgroups out of the divided roller subgroups is scraped and removed by an ink scraping member. An ink film thickness distribution correction apparatus is also disclosed.

摘要: A method of controlling an ink profile in an inking unit of a lithographic offset printing press having printing units with cylinders for transporting printing material or for applying printing ink to the printing material. One of the cylinders is a plate cylinder in the printing unit. An operating speed of the inking unit is reduced in relation to an operating speed of the cylinders for transporting printing material or for applying printing ink to the printing material when the printing press is running and the transport of printing material is switched off. The inking unit continues to operate at a reduced speed and the inking unit is disengaged from the plate cylinder during operation at a reduced speed.
