Abstract:
A portable handheld pressure washer is provided that includes an electric motor and a pump that are contained within a housing that has a built-in handle with a trigger on an upper side of the housing. The pressure washer of the present invention can also include a discharge lance to which various cleaning nozzles or other cleaning implements can be attached.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a high-pressure cleaning appliance with a motor-pump unit, comprising a pump head on which is positioned a piston subassembly, which carries a drive motor with the interposition of a planetary gearing, and has a plurality of pistons which can be moved back and forth in the longitudinal direction of the motor-pump unit and each penetrate into a pumping chamber of the pump head, and also comprising a swash-plate unit which interacts with the pistons, the planetary gearing having a sun gear which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the motor shaft of the drive motor and is coupled to a ring gear via planet gears rotatably mounted on a planet gear carrier, the planet gear carrier being connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the swash-plate unit. In order for it to be possible for the planetary gearing to be lubricated to good effect even when the motor-pump unit is oriented substantially vertically, it is proposed for the piston subassembly to have an oil sump into which penetrates an oil-delivery tube which is aligned coaxially with the motor shaft and is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the planet gear carrier, it being possible for oil to be fed to the planetary gearing from the oil sump via the oil-delivery tube.
Abstract:
In a variable displacement hydraulic pump having a housing with a multiplicity of interconnected surfaces, including opposed end surfaces and intermediate side surfaces, the improvement comprising the location of at least one case drain orifice in each of a plurality of differing ones of the surfaces in a manner such that at least one of the orifices is located in the vicinity of the top surface of the housing in any spatial orientation of the housing.
Abstract:
A pump including a first enclosure (10) and a second enclosure (20), a pumping mechanism (3) and an electromotive means (11,23) operable to drive the pumping mechanism (3). The electromotive means (11,23) includes a solenoid assembly (11) having a solenoid coil (13), and an armature assembly (23), the solenoid coil (13) being sealed within the first enclosure (10). The pump mechanism (3) is supported within the second enclosure (20), the armature assembly (23) being in operational relationship with the pumping mechanism (3). A diagnostic sensor (19) is sealed within the first enclosure (10) for detecting flow through a flow path (22) in the second enclosure (20). A flow responsive member (28) is supported within the flow path (22), the diagnostic sensor (19) detecting displacement of the flow responsive member (28).
Abstract:
A piston-type fuel pump has two or more cylinder bores in a barrel. A piston in each cylinder bore has a port for admitting fuel into the cylinder bore. A swash plate assembly includes a wobble plate connected to each of the pistons. The wobble plate is given an oscillatory motion producing reciprocal movement of the pistons. A thin-walled metal bellows defines a closed interior space surrounding the pistons to prevent escape of fuel.
Abstract:
An hydraulic wobble pump having an inlet passage extending inwardly from one end thereof through the central portion of said housing and opening into said wobble chamber. The inlet passage being arranged to admit hydraulic fluid to said wobble chamber substantially centrally between said cylinders so as to be substantially uniformly distributed to each cylinder in use.
