    摘要: In a switching arrangement for the hydraulic drive of a full-track vehicle, in which arrangement at least one drive motor is associated with each respective endless ground-engaging track at both sides of the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, there are provided for the drive motors located at both sides of the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, a common source of pressurized fluid and a valve arrangement by which the drive motors can be connected with the common source of pressurized fluid in series for moving the tracks in the same sense and in parallel for moving the tracks in a mutually opposing sense, and by which each drive motor can, if required, separately be supplied with pressurized fluid.

    摘要: A hydrostatic transmission includes a mechanically driven hydraulic pump connected in hydraulic circuit with first and second hydraulic motors. The hydrostatic outputs of the first and second motors are respectively applied to the ring and sun gears of a planetary gear set whose carrier constitutes the transmission hydrostatic output. Acceleration under low speed, high torque conditions is achieved by varying the displacements of the pump and second motor, while the first motor is removed from the hydraulic circuit and the ring gear is braked. At an appropriate shift point, the first motor is inserted into the hydraulic circuit and the ring gear is released, such that further acceleration is achieved by varying the displacements of the pump and both motors in coordination.

    摘要: A machine drive system includes two motors which are to be driven with a selected velocity ratio. To one of these motors a coarse control is applied, and which the velocity ratio approximates the desired value, a fine control is applied to the other motor. The system may be hydraulic or electric. The hydraulic version employs a single pump to drive the two motors, and the fine control is conveniently a valve in a fluid line bypass around the associated motor. An error signal obtained from a comparison of the two speeds is used to govern the coarse/fine control.
