    摘要: A self-propelled off-road agricultural vehicle is provided with a hydraulic propel circuit protection system. The hydraulic propel circuit protection system reduces extreme pressure buildup from the motors when the pumps and/or motors are rapidly deactivated. The hydraulic propel circuit protection system may include a propel manifold with integral valving and an accumulator to protect a propel circuit of the self-propelled off-road agricultural vehicle. External relief valves which may be integrated into the propel manifold may limit the high pressure condition on the outlet of the motors to a level that prevents damage to the hydraulic motors and the accumulator provides supplemental flow and thus prevents the extremely low pressure condition from occurring at either side of the motors.

    摘要: A vehicle vacuum power system which insures sufficient vacuum power to operate a vacuum brake booster and a vacuum operated road speed control system. Because of the low vacuum, high flow rate needs of a cruise control system, the cruise control is connected directly to the engine manifold through a check valve. A small orifice from the vacuum pump in parallel with engine manifold vacuum provides sufficient vacuum for the cruise control when the manifold vacuum is not sufficient. The vacuum pump is in series with manifold vacuum and is operated in response to a pressure switch which allows the pump to run only when brake booster vacuum is low. Manifold vacuum is sufficient most of the time, but the orifice to the cruise control tends to cause a fast loss of brake booster vacuum, causing the vacuum pump to run when it is not actually needed. The vacuum regulator shuts off the flow through the orifice when it is not needed, considerably reducing the pump operational time. The regulator is a two-piece housing with a spring loaded diaphragm controlling a regulator port. Atmospheric pressure is on one side of the diaphragm and engine manifold vacuum is on the other.

    摘要: An electrically operated vehicle provides a series of rotary members specially mounted to be partially exposed to external direct fluid currents and deflected fluid currents from a deflecting member. Each rotary member provides a series of substantially flat radial vanes circumferentially spaced in quadrature with the vanes of one rotating member angularly spaced with respect to the quadrature type vanes provided by an axially spaced rotary member. An axially spaced fluid conducting channel provides a vacuum at an axial end of a rotating member for reducing back pressure. An electrical control automatically responds to the differentially sensed electrical charges, within a pair of separate batteries for selectively connecting the battery with the lowest charge to the energy generating source and the battery with the greatest charge to energize an electrical motor driving the vehicle.
