    摘要: A speed control system for a working vehicle having a stepless change speed device and an auxiliary change speed device. The speed control system comprises a speed governor for controlling rotational rate of an engine, and an accelerator lever for operating the speed governor. The speed governor is interlocked with the stepless change speed device such that the rotational rate of the engine is increased with an accelerating operation of the stepless change speed device, and is decreased with a decelerating operation of the stepless change speed device. An interlock breaker is provided for breaking the interlocking between the speed governor and stepless change speed device when the auxiliary change speed device is in a low speed state.

    摘要: A hydraulically operated continuously variable automotive transmission includes a transmission ratio controlling member and a hydraulic actuator operatively coupled to the transmission ratio controlling member for continuously operating the transmission ratio controlling member to increase or reduce the transmission ratio of the continuously variable automotive transmission. A control valve is provided for applying a controlling hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic actuator dependent on the difference between a first control force commensurate with an indication of the automobile driver's intention of acceleration or deceleration and a second force commensurate with the engine rotational speed, in order to change the direction in which the hydraulic actuator is operated. The control valve includes, but is not limited to, a cylinder having two ports communicating with the hydraulic actuator, a port communicating with a source of hydraulic pressure, and a port communicating with an oil tank, a first spool slidably disposed in the cylinder and slidable dependent on the difference between the first and second control forces for selectively bringing the ports into and out of communication, a second spool slidably disposed in the first spool and movable in response to a control force commensurate with a control signal, and variable restrictions disposed between the first and second spools for varying the amount of controlling hydraulic pressure applied to the hydraulic actuator.

    摘要: A control device for use in a cargo handling vehicle in which a single power plant provides both the vehicle drive and the power to the cargo handling device has a continuously variable transmission. The cargo handling device is actuated by means of a hydraulic pump. Whether or not the cargo handling device is in operation the operator need not adjust the degree of depression of a drive pedal to maintain constant vehicle speed because automatic compensation means are provided for that purpose.     摘要: A motor vehicle, preferably with a fuel injection engine, has a coupling, such as a multi-point hitch, connectable to an attachment. One or more of the hitch's arms are pivotable about a connection to the vehicle, and when the attachment is pushed, pulled or raised, the force resulting therefrom causes a rod associated with a variable speed torque converter to be displaced. The converter is a hydraulic pump-motor combination with swash plates pivotable to change the motor's output responsive to the rod's movement. The arrangement automatically slows or increases drive from the converter to the driven wheels when the attachment load changes. The control includes a valve in a hydraulic circuit actuated by the rod or other component. A sun-planet gear system is driven via the hydraulic motor to change the output to the vehicle's wheels while maintaining a constant engine speed. A brake on an annular drive member is operated manually to vary the converter's effect. In another embodiment, engine fuel injector plungers are reciprocated in stationary housings by cams to inject fuel into the engine cylinders. The housings have inlet and outlet bores that receive and return fuel depending on the plungers' positions in their housings. By changing the amount of fuel injected, a rack controlling the plungers by extreme movement in either direction short circuits the hydraulic system so converter's swash plates reduce or change the motor's output.

    摘要: Optimum fuel consumption in an internal combustion engine driving a hydrostatic transmission having a continuously variable gear ratio is achieved by first applying the signal derived from the gas pedal directly to the transmission ratio regulator and, secondly, by controlling the fuel consumption of the engine in response to the gas pedal signal as follows: first, the signal from the gas pedal is multiplied by a signal signifying the output speed of the transmission. The so-formed desired power signal is applied to a storage which furnishes a desired engine speed signal in response thereto. The desired speed signal is compared to the actual engine speed and the resulting error signal, after amplification and integration, is applied to a unit controlling the fuel supply of the engine.

    摘要: An automatic speed ratio control system of the integration servo mechanism type for a stepless transmission of an automotive vehicle. Speed ratio is controlled by a hydraulic pump motor of variable displacement type, which in turn is controlled by an actuator having a piston and a cylinder to which hydraulic oil is supplied. The system comprises a target value generator which produces a target value for an engine speed corresponding to a throttle opening or an output torque of an engine, or which produces a target value for an engine output torque corresponding to a throttle opening or an engine speed; a detector for producing a signal indicative of an engine speed or an output torque of an engine; a control signal generator for comparing the signal from the detector against the signal from the target value generator to produce a control signal in accordance with a deviation therebetween; and a controller responsive to the control signal to drive the actuator to change a speed ratio of the stepless transmission. The system is characterized by further comprising means for controlling a gain of the alteration rate of the speed ratio in response to a rotational speed of an output shaft of the stepless transmission to increase the alteration rate when the rotational speed of the output shaft is low and decrease the alteration rate when the rotational speed of the output shaft is high.

    摘要: A hybrid transmission system for use in internal combustion engine vehicles provides two modes of vehicle operation. In the first or city mode, the vehicle is propelled by one or more reversible hydraulic motor/pumps which operate as a function of vehicle accelerator pedal displacement and of brake pedal displacement and which are driven by fluid pressure stored in an accumulator. In the second or highway mode, the vehicle is propelled by its internal combustion engine through a mechanical transmission.During the city mode operation, the accumulator is automatically and intermittently charged by a reversible hydraulic motor/pump driven by the internal combustion engine. Also, during the city mode, the internal combustion engine operates only during intermittent charging of the accumulator.The hybrid transmission system has automatic regulating units to control the accumulator charging process, to regulate the brake fluid pressure within the master brake cylinder to insure that vehicle braking is solely a function of brake pedal displacement, and to control which reversible hydraulic motor/pump(s) is (are) utilized during the city mode operation.Additionally, the hybrid transmission system utilizes a manually operated mode/selection device to allow the vehicle operator the choice of first or second mode vehicle operation.
