摘要: An antenna protector includes a top wall, a first side wall, a second side wall, and an end wall. The top wall includes a center reinforcement that includes a plurality of lateral ribs and longitudinal ribs protruding from the top wall and arranged in a grid formation. Each of the first side wall, the second side wall, and the end wall include a perimeter reinforcement that includes a plurality of vertical ribs protruding from the wall. In an exemplary embodiment the antenna protector may include an open end portion, a closed end portion, and a center section, wherein the center section is narrower in width than each of the open end portion and the closed end portion.

摘要: A logging tool includes a tool mandrel, an antenna disposed on the tool mandrel and including one or more coil windings wrapped about the tool mandrel, an antenna shield disposed about the antenna and including at least two pieces, and a constraining element to limit rotational motion of the antenna shield about the tool mandrel. The constraining element is disposed in a through hole defined in the antenna shield and a cavity defined in the tool mandrel, and the antenna shield and the tool mandrel are coupled to each other via an interference fit between the constraining element and the through hole and the cavity.

The antenna system can include a planar substrate with a horizontally polarized antenna embedded therein. A rotation member, on one end, can be attached to the planar substrate, and can extend from an external surface of the aerial vehicle. An actuator can be coupled to the rotation member to rotate the rotation member. A communication controller of the aerial vehicle can control the actuator to beam horizontally polarized radiofrequency (RF) waves to a target receiver or receive a wave front from a target transmitter.

This resin component can be used as a radome and may constitute part of a radar device.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for printed cavities for computational microwave imaging and methods or use. According to an aspect, an imaging system includes a printed cavity having a layer having a first surface and a second surface. The printed cavity defines multiple apertures that extend between the first surface and the second surface. The printed cavity also includes a substrate being attached to the first surface of the layer. The substrate is also configured to be fed a guided wave that excites the apertures to produce a radiation pattern for illuminating a scene. The imaging system also include one or more antennas configured to generate a signal for imaging based on the illuminated scene.
