摘要： An unmanned vehicle for displacing material, in particular dung, from the floor of a shed includes a frame, with disposed thereon a material displacer, propulsion mechanism and navigator with a sensor for forming an image of an observation area, the sensor including a source of radiation for modulated electromagnetic radiation, a receiver device for electromagnetic radiation reflected by an object in the observation area, and a sensor image processor, wherein the receiver device includes a matrix with a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns of receivers, and the sensor image processor is configured to determine for each of the receivers a phase difference between the emitted and the reflected electromagnetic radiation in order to calculate a distance from the receiver to the object. Such a vehicle is capable of detecting and displacing material in a very reliable manner by utilization of the depth image obtained by the sensor.

Due to the fact that the machine container can be exchanged automatically and quickly with an exchange container, the assembly is relatively efficient in use.

The control unit is programmed for additionally determining the identity of the animal after connecting a teat cup to a teat of the animal or after confining the animal in a milking place and before discharging the milk to the storage container.

摘要： An apparatus for feeding and providing water to animals, such as cows or goats, comprises a framework having a central axis. A plurality of reservoirs are connected to a framework in its upper aspects and feeding troughs are disposed below the reservoirs. At least one metering device for metering feed or drink or both to the feeding troughs is provided between the reservoirs and feeding troughs. Each feeding trough has a sensor for identifying an animal feeding at the feeding trough. The metering device which delivers feed or water or both to the feeding trough is controlled by a computer memory to deliver selected fodder from the reservoirs to each feeding trough in accordance for the nutritional needs of the animal which is at said trough. The control of the fodder relates both to the speed that the animal is eating and to data stored in the memory as to the nutrition needs of that animal. Vertical partitions are disposed between feeding troughs and separate same sufficiently so that the animals do not disturb each other. A magnetic separation member, which may be an electromagnet, is provided to remove any metal which may be mixed with the fodder delivered to the feeding troughs. The components of the apparatus can be connected to the framework without tools.

At least one of the procedures affecting each animal in the herd is governed, at least in part, by data in the memory relating to the animal's status or position in the hierarchic order of the herd and also by data concerning the animal's jostling behavior.

摘要： A combination of a teat cup and a flexible milk tube is shown. The flexible milk tube has a main duct and a plurality of secondary ducts for discharging milk from the teat cup and for applying vacuum in the teat cup. The main duct is confined by a duct wall extending around the main duct. The secondary ducts are included in the duct wall of the main duct. By including the plurality of secondary ducts in the duct wall of the main duct the flexible milk tube as a whole has a smaller cross-section than that of the known milk tube. The plurality of secondary ducts no longer need separate duct walls forming separate tubes either connected or not with the flexible milk tube comprising the main duct. This results in space saving.
