Abstract:
Power switch units for microelectronic devices are disclosed. In one aspect, a microelectronic device may include a functional circuit, and a power switch unit to switch power to the functional circuit on and off. The power switch unit may include a large number of transistors coupled together. The transistors may include predominantly positive-channel, insulated gate field effect transistors, which have a gate dielectric that includes a high dielectric constant material. Power switch units having such transistors may tend to have low power consumption. In an aspect, an overdrive voltage may be applied to the gates of such transistors to further reduce power consumption. Methods of overdriving such transistors and systems including such power switch units are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A prepolymer system has a monomeric isocyanate content of no greater than about 10% by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the prepolymer system. The prepolymer system comprises a diluent component and a prepolymer component different than and separate from the diluent component. The diluent component has an excess of isocyanate (NCO) functional groups, and comprises the reaction product of a monohydric isocyanate-reactive component and an excess of a first isocyanate component. The first isocyanate component comprises monomeric isocyanates reactive with the monohydric isocyanate-reactive component. The prepolymer component also has an excess of NCO functional groups, and comprises the reaction product of a polyol component and an excess of a second isocyanate component. The prepolymer system can be used to prepare foams via reaction with water. The foams have low density and have excellent adhesion and sound dampening properties for use in cavities of automobile bodies.

Abstract:
A two stage fully differential amplifier has been designed which works, in tandem with a TX-FIR, as a linear equalizer at low frequencies, not covered by the TX-FIR, and also acts as a linear amplifier at higher frequencies which are equalized by the TX-FIR. The amplifier as a frequency response which does not attenuate signals frequencies less than one twentieth of baud rate, creates gain peaking ion the region between one twentieth and one tenth of baud rate and maintains flat peak gain up to half of baud rate. Different aspects of the frequency response curve (such as dc gain, max gain and zero frequency) are completely programmable. Also, the differential amplifier has been designed from low power and process, voltage and temperature insensitive frequency response.

Abstract:
A method and system for establishing a call between two endpoints residing on different media gateways in a decomposed voice over packet architecture. Cluster attributes identifying alternate bearer possibilities are exchanged between media gateways as part of capabilities negotiation which occurs during call setup conducted by an external call control element over a core network. The media gateways analyze the cluster attributes to determine whether bearer possibilities exist apart from the core network. If an alternate bearer possibility exists, the alternate is employed and the call is established via the alternate bearer directly between the media gateways, thus bypassing the core network.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an improved and industrial friendly process for lactonization to produce compound of the Formula [I], from compound of the Formula [II] in presence of an inorganic compound as a suitable lactonizing agent, preferably alkali metal hydrogen sulfate, and crystallizing the obtained lactone product in a solvent; or treating compound of the Formula [II] in the presence of an inorganic compound preferably alkali metal hydrogen sulfate using phase transfer catalyst in heterogeneous phase followed by crystallizing the obtained lactone product in a solvent.
Abstract:
Text is interleaved and transported along with media data over the same real-time Internet Protocol (IP) media transport session. A network processing device identifies text characters corresponding with text signaling. The identified text characters are formatted into text packets and sent over the same real-time IP media transport session used for real-time media transport. The media transport session can identify the sequence that the text characters are transmitted and can specify a maximum character transfer rate.
