A method is provided to transmit a signal by a transmitter in a communication system. The method includes predicting a receiver noise signal received from a receiver, and increasing an intelligibility of a transmitter signal using the receiver noise signal. The transmitter signal includes a transmitter noise signal and a transmitter speech signal. The transmitter cancels the transmitter noise signal from the transmitter signal and intensifies the transmitter speech signal in consideration of the receiver noise signal.

An LCD device and a driving method thereof are disclosed.The LCD device and the driving method thereof accurately recognize an input pattern and perform the operation of any one of several inversion systems corresponding to the recognized pattern. Also, the LCD device and the driving method thereof detects the priority order of at least two different patterns and perform the operation of an optimized inversion system, even though at least two different patterns input.

An optical lens includes a recessed part and a refracting part. The recessed part has a substantially circular plan view and a substantially V shaped cross-section. The recessed part forms an angle of no more than an angle of about 20° with respect to a vertical line. The recessed part has a plurality of curved surfaces including different radii so that a light incident into the recessed part is totally reflected from the curved surfaces. The refracting part has a substantially circular plan view extended from the recessed part. A light incident into the refracting part and the reflected light from the recessed part are refracted from the refracting part. Therefore, a luminance uniformity and a color uniformity are improved.

Disclosed is a memory device using a multi-domain state of a semiconductor material, and more particularly to a magnetic memory device, in which a ferromagnetic layer for recording magnetic data serves as a sensing layer so as to have a simple structure, shorten a manufacturing process, and reduce the unit cost of production. The planar hall effect or magneto-resistance is used to measure multi-domain states so as to read data stored in a multi-level state.

A display apparatus includes a display panel which displays images, a light source unit which generates and emits a light, a reflective sheet disposed below the display panel, and a plate disposed between the reflective sheet and the display panel. The reflective sheet includes a light diffusion pattern provided on an upper surface thereof facing the display panel, which diffusely reflects the light, to guide the light provided from the light source unit toward the display panel. The plate is spaced apart from the reflective sheet by a predetermined distance and includes a plurality of prisms provided on a lower surface thereof facing the reflective sheet to selectively reflect and transmit the light, which is provided from both the light source unit and the reflective sheet, according to an incident angle of the light.

The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display, a driving device thereof, a digital to analog converter, and an output voltage amplifying circuit. The present invention provides a liquid crystal display driving device including a reference gray voltage generator for generating a plurality of reference gray voltages, and a data driver for generating a plurality of gray voltages based on the plurality of reference gray voltages and applying a data signal that is generated by selecting a gray voltage corresponding to m-bit video signals applied from the outside from among the plurality of gray voltages to the pixel The data driver includes: a voltage generator for selecting a first gray voltage and a second gray voltage corresponding to bit values of (m−k) bits from among the video signal from among the plurality of gray voltages, and outputting the first and second gray voltages; an output voltage generator for outputting 2k voltages determined as one of the first and second gray voltages corresponding to bit values of k bits from among the video signal; and an output voltage amplifier for generating the data signal by combining the 2k voltages, and applying the data signal to a plurality of pixels. According to the present invention, a liquid crystal display having a small cost and area can be realized.

A wafer test equipment system includes a performance board connected to a tester head of a tester. A universal block printed circuit board is positioned on the performance board, directly connecting a plurality of normal signal lines to a probe card and dividing each of a plurality of power signal lines into multiple paths and connecting them to the probe card. A cable assembly transfers the normal signal lines and the power signal lines between the universal block printed circuit board and the tester head. The cable assembly is soldered directly to the universal block printed circuit board in a perpendicular direction through a center portion of the performance board. A probe card is removably secured to the performance board including the universal block printed circuit board. The probe card includes an interposer on an upper surface thereof, a ceramic multi-layer substrate positioned below the interposer, and a plurality of needles positioned below the ceramic multi-layer substrate on a lower surface thereof opposite the upper surface.

Disclosed is a method of coating carbon nanotube-reinforced plastic, which enables higher productivity and cost reduction by omitting one or more steps as compared to a conventional coating process, and which allows a paint film to be superior in adhesion and brilliance. The inventive method includes: a plastic-forming step for forming a plastic article to be coated from a plastic material mixed with a minute quantity of nanotubes; a pre-treatment step for removing oil-fat and foreign matters from the plastic article; and a surface coat coating step for coating the plastic article with paint directly on the surface of the plastic article so as to protect the plastic article.

The method displays events in the portable terminal whose environments are set according to pieces of user information. The method includes setting an environment of the portable terminal based on an environment selected from among the pieces of information, identifying, if a communication event is received by the portable terminal while it is operated in the set environment, connecting information included in the received communication event, determining whether the identified connecting information is included in the selected user information, determining, if it is determined that the identified connecting information is not included in the selected user information, whether the identified connecting information exists in other user information, and displaying, if it is determined that the identified connecting information exists in other user information, the other user information and the communication event.
