    摘要: An electroplating apparatus can form a plated film having a more uniform thickness and good film quality over an entire surface of a substrate having a conductive layer (seed layer) whose resistivity is equal to or higher than that of copper. The electroplating apparatus includes: a substrate holder for holding a substrate; a sealing member for contact with a peripheral portion of a surface of a substrate, held by the substrate holder, to seal the peripheral portion; a cathode contact for contact with a conductive layer formed in the surface of the substrate, held by the substrate holder, to feed electricity to the conductive layer; and a housing having therein an anode to be immersed in a plating solution, and a porous structure disposed at an open end facing the substrate held by the substrate holder, said porous structure defining a plating chamber in the housing; wherein the plating chamber is divided into rooms by a partition plate and the porous structure, and the anode is comprised of a plurality of divided anodes, each divided anode being disposed in each room of the plating chamber so that each divided anode can pass an independent plating current.

    摘要: In a PLL circuit including an oscillator, a phase comparator, a charge pump circuit, and a loop filter, without providing a plurality of capacitative elements, that is, without increasing the occupied area so much, the characteristics of the PLL circuit can be adjusted according to manufacture variations in a resistive element and a capacitative element, and a loop filter can be formed on a chip. A resistive element and a capacitative element of a loop filter are formed on a semiconductor chip. As the resistive element, a plurality of elements having different resistance values are provided and switched by a switch, thereby enabling the resistance value to be adjusted. Current in a charge pump circuit is also made adjustable, and the current of the charge pump circuit is adjusted according to switching among the resistance values of the resistive elements.

    摘要: There is provided an image forming apparatus which is capable of operating in a stable condition and in an efficient manner by omitting automatic adjustment in the case where there is no necessity of carrying out the automatic adjustment when the image forming apparatus returns from a power-saving mode to a normal mode. A CPU shifts the operation mode of the image forming apparatus to a power-saving mode in which power consumption is saved. The CPU detects at least one of a status of the image forming apparatus before the operation mode is shifted to the power-saving mode and a status of the image forming apparatus in the power-saving mode. The CPU determines the contents of a return process executed when the operation mode returns to a normal mode from the power-saving mode, according to the detected status of the image forming apparatus.

    摘要: There is provided an image forming apparatus which is capable of securing a time period for measuring the base reflected light quantity required for the base correction, and at the same time, reducing a time period required for the entire image density control. An image forming unit includes an image carrier disposed to be exposed to light to have a latent image formed thereon, an electrostatic charger that charges the image carrier to a predetermined polarity, a developing device that visualizes the latent image formed on the image carrier to form a visible image, and an endless belt onto which the visible image is transferred. A CPU controls the image forming unit to form predetermined detection patterns on the endless belt. The detection patterns and the quantity of reflection light from the endless belt are detected. The CPU corrects the detected detection patterns based on the detected quantity of reflection light. One of the image forming conditions is adjusted by the CPU, based on the corrected detection result of the detection patterns. Another one of the image forming conditions is adjusted by the CPU. The detection of the quantity of reflection light from the endless belt is carried out in timing synchronous with the adjustment of the other image forming condition.
