    Abstract: A user equipment (UE), gNodeB or network component can be configured to support a data-aided sidelink synchronization. In response to losing a sidelink synchronization reference, sidelink synchronization tracking or performing an initial sidelink synchronization, data-aided sidelink synchronization can be performed by deriving or maintaining a sidelink synchronization from a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH), or a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmission of another network device, UE or vehicle to everything (V2X) based on data of another reference signal that is with the PSCCH or the PSSCH transmission.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems and methods associated with asynchronous synchronization reference source selection and reselection for wireless communication devices are disclosed herein. In embodiments, one or more non-transitory, computer-readable media having instructions stored thereon, wherein the instructions, in response to execution by a user equipment (UE), cause the UE to establish a sidelink connection with a first synchronization reference (SyncRef) UE, and monitor for physical sidelink broadcast channel (PSBCH) synchronization signals from a second SyncRefUE, wherein the UE is to drop one or more subframes of data reception of the sidelink connection with the first SyncRef UE when the UE monitors for the PSBCH synchronization signals.     Abstract: Systems and methods provide solutions for testing an 8Rx capable UE using test cases for 4Rx capable UEs. An example method establishes a connection from a first Tx source and a second Tx source to each of 8Rx antenna ports. The connection duplicates a fading channel from both the first Tx source and the second Tx source to each of the eight Rx antenna ports, and adds independent noise for each of the 8Rx antenna ports. One test scenario uses 4Rx supported RF bands by connecting four of the Rx ports with data from a system simulator, and the other four Rx ports are connected with zero input. Same requirements specified with 4Rx capable UEs are applied. Another test scenario uses 8Rx supported RF bands and applies lower dB SNR requirements than those specified for 4Rx tests.
