Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry configured to decode physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) configuration information received from a Next Generation Node-B (gNB). The configuration information includes a cell-specific base sequence hopping pattern. A PUCCH base sequence is selected from a plurality of available PUCCH base sequences based on the cell-specific base sequence hopping pattern and UCI information. A cyclic shift is applied to the PUCCH base sequence to generate a cyclically shifted PUCCH sequence. The cyclically shifted PUCCH sequence is encoded for transmission to the gNB using a PUCCH physical resource. The cyclically shifted PUCCH sequence carries the UCI and is code division multiplexed (CDM) with at least another cyclically shifted PUCCH sequence within the PUCCH physical resource.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides apparatuses, systems, methods, and machine readable storage medium for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission between a user equipment (UE) and a base station, based on a robust codebook. In an embodiment, a UE, including circuitry operable to: report a UE capability of the UE to a base station, wherein the UE capability comprises a number of phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) antenna ports (NPT-RS) supported by the UE; decode control signaling received from the base station, wherein the control signaling comprises at least one parameter to indicate a precoder selected from a codebook based on at least the NPT-RS; and perform physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission according to the indicated precoder; wherein the codebook is predefined or configured based on different numbers of PT-RS antenna ports and different waveforms, in the UE and the base station.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques for random access in a wireless communication network are described. Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for performing beam selection. An embodiment operates by receiving, from a base station, a request for a report for at least one uplink beam. In response, the embodiment generates the report for the at least one uplink beam. The report for the at least one uplink beam can include an indication that a resource corresponding to the at least one uplink beam is available for uplink beam indication. The resource can be a Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) resource or a Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) resource. The embodiment transmits the report for the at least one uplink beam to the base station. The embodiment then receives, from the base station, an indication that the at least one uplink beam is selectable for uplink transmission based on the report for the uplink beam.
