摘要: A packet receiving method may include receiving a packet having either a compressed header or a noncompressed header. A packet received with a compressed header is decompressed to regenerate a non-compressed header for the packet. Error detection is performed to detect the presence of an error in a packet: (1) received with a noncompressed header, (2) having a regenerated non-compressed header, or (3) having a replacement non-compressed header. Part of the non-compressed header, in a packet having a regenerated non-compressed header, is replaced with previously stored non-compressed header information, which is known to be correct, when an error is detected in the packet so as to produce a replacement non-compressed header. A packet is output as a correctly received packet when no error is detected in the packet.

摘要: Received packets are preserved in a receiving buffer 102; a playback decision section 103 decides whether the preserved packets are in time for the playback time or not; the playback orders and the preservation addresses of the preserved packets which have been decided to be in time are memorized in a pointer 104 for playback; the preserved packets are read and played back according to the pointer 104 for playback. And, the playback orders and the preservation addresses of the preserved packets are memorized in a pointer 106 for preservation; and a media conversion section 107 reads the preserved packets according to the pointer 106 for preservation, and memorizes them after conversion into packets with a form by which the packets may be memorized in a preservation memory 108.

摘要: A packet compressor 12 operates under a reliable mode or an optimistic mode. A mode determination unit 31 counts the number of ACK packets or NACK packets received by a unit time X by an ACK/NACK packet receiver 14. When the counted number of NACK packets is larger than a predetermined value Y, the mode determination unit 31 switches the operation mode of the packet compressor 12 to the reliable mode. When the counted number of ACK packets is larger than a predetermined value Z, the mode determination unit 31 switches the operation mode of the packet compressor 12 to the optimistic mode.

摘要: An image distribution apparatus that ensures both privacy protection and security is provided. A private area storage section stores private areas relating to the privacy of users. A cutout area storage section stores, as a cutout area, an area requested by an identified user to be distributed. An image processing level storage section stores an image processing rule that defines an image processing level for each of areas having different levels of privacy. An image processing area generation section acquires the cutout area of the identified user from the cutout area storage section, acquires, from the private area storage section, a private area of the identified user and a private area of a person other than the identified user, which private areas are contained in an image of the acquired cutout area, acquires the image processing rule from the image processing level storage section, and then determines an image processing method for each area in the cutout area in accordance with the acquired image processing rule.

摘要: An art of hydrogen concentration measurement in which the hydrogen concentration of any given location of an object to be measured can be nondestructively obtained is provided. The steps comprises: placing an electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor 2 in the proximity of, or on, the surface of an object to be measured 8, said electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor 2 generating a magnetic field in which the magnetic flux density changes at high frequency on the wall body of the object to be measured 8 and receiving a longitudinal ultrasonic wave whose vibration is deflecting in the direction parallel to the thickness direction and a transverse ultrasonic wave whose vibration is deflecting in the direction at an angle of substantially 90° with respect to said longitudinal direction; allowing the electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor 2 to generate a changing magnetic field so that the longitudinal ultrasonic wave and the transverse ultrasonic wave form a resonant state and receive the longitudinal ultrasonic wave and the transverse ultrasonic wave generated in the object to be measured 8; detecting the resonance frequencies of the longitudinal ultrasonic wave and the transverse ultrasonic wave; calculating a predetermined resonance property index using said resonance frequencies of the longitudinal ultrasonic wave and the transverse ultrasonic wave; and calculating the hydrogen concentration of the object to be measured 8 with reference to a reference material database 7 which stores the relation between the hydrogen concentration of a member with the same member specifications as those of said object to be measured and the resonance property index.
