    摘要: A tire vulcanization mold includes an elongated exhaust groove open to a tire molding surface, a plate-like blade inserted in the exhaust groove leaving a small gap between the blade and groove defining surfaces, and an exhaust hole connecting the exhaust groove and mold exterior. The exhaust groove has a length reduced partway in a mold depth direction, and includes upper and shorter lower groove portions positioned on mold surface and back surface sides, respectively, of the mold. The upper groove portion thickness is greater than the blade thickness, and the lower groove portion thickness is less than or equal to the blade thickness. The blade includes a communicating portion connecting the upper and lower groove portions, and abuts against portions of the mold defining a bottom surface of the upper groove portion and edge surfaces of both sides in a thickness direction of the lower groove portion.

    摘要: A vulcanizing mold manufacturing method, and a tire vulcanizing mold are disclosed. Tubular bodies each formed by oppositely arranging the inner peripheral surfaces of both end portions of a plate-shaped body are each arranged so that the gap between both opposite end portions thereof is narrowed and that the tips of both end portions come in contact with the surface of the plaster mold, by inserting and fitting both opposite end portions into a fitting portion of a plate-shaped metal fitting protruding from the surface of the plaster mold. Molten metal is poured over the surface of the plaster mold to embed the tubular body in a mold while exposing the tips of both opposite end portions at the tire molding surface of the mold. The metal fitting is removed from the mold, so that a mold having a small gap between both opposite end portions is manufactured.

    摘要: A device for separating and removing a rigid core when building a tire, including a slide table and positioning means which are provided on a support table of the separation/removal device. The slide table is slidable to convey the tire, whose inner surface is held by the rigid core body and a core holding mechanism, to a central position on the support table. An elevating device is provided on the central axis of the support table, and includes a clamping means to elevate the rigid core body and the tire from which the core holding mechanism is removed, to a position where the rigid core body and the tire do not interfere with the core holding mechanism. A pair of core separation/removal mechanisms are disposed below the center of the support table, capable of elevating movement, and radially contracting and removing each type of the segment groups.

The resin injected from the center portion (the portion corresponding to the zenithal portion (15) of the dome cover (6)) of the cavity (14) flows uniformly toward the circumference of the cavity (14). Therefore, variations in pressure and temperature of the resin in the cavity (14) are restrained and, consequently, molding irregularity of the manufactured dome cover (6) is restrained. According to the method of manufacturing the dome cover as described above, generation of the partial molding irregularity on the manufactured dome cover is restrained.
