    摘要: In the process of press molding an optical element having an optical functioning face having a grating which is rotationally asymmetric, both ends of an molding face of an lower press die are cut off to form inclined faces. During a press molding, glass material filled in the cuttings presses the inclined faces so that the rotation of a lower press die in an barrel die around an axis is prevented. In addition, the part filled in the cuttings is used as the reference point to mount on an optical apparatus. As a result, the rotation of the press dies is prevented, and the placement of the rotationally asymmetric optical functioning face is avoided. Therefore, the direction for mounting the optical element on an optical apparatus can be easily decided.

    摘要: The laser beam emitted by a laser light source is first brought to an image in an auxiliary scanning plane, and reflected by a slit mirror provided in a prism block. The arrangement is such that this laser light is incident on the scanning deflector along the optic axis of the scanning lens, and a screen is provided for obstructing ghosting in the vicinity of the scanning surface. Further, either the side of the prism block on which the light is incident or the side from which it emerges is curved, or both are curved, or one side of the prism block is treated to prevent reflection. Further, a screen is provided between the laser light source and the slit mirror so as to obstruct that part of the light incident on the mirror which is reflected by the mirror after being reflected by the scanning deflector.

    摘要: An optical scanning apparatus has a semiconductor laser which produces a divergent beam of light. A collimator lens makes the beam of light parallel, a cylindrical lens shapes the beam, and a polygonal deflector deflects the beam through a scanning lens and onto a rotating drum containing an exposure plane. The amount of light reflected back into the semiconductor laser is reduced by forming a slit either inside of the collimator lens or inside of a housing of the cylindrical lens.
