摘要: In an objective lens driving device, a movable member shiftable along and rotatable around a vertical shaft is provided for supporting the objective lens to be movable therewith vertically and horizontally. An electromagnetic driving means is provided for driving the movable member as desired. A damper member formed into an annular configuration symmetric around a central axis of a bearing portion provided on the movable member is provided between the movable member and a stationary portion of the device for damping and positioning the movable member for maintaining the objective lens to its neutral position.

摘要: A method of promoting the growth of plants which comprises applying to the surface of a plant growth medium to be exposed to a source of ultraviolet radiation a light-degradable mulching film for agricultural use, comprising a resin composition, whose resin components consist essentially of(1) from 5 to 50 percent by weight of polyisobutylene oxide resin,(2) the balance of a second resin component selected from the group consisting of at least one polyolefin resin and a mixture of at least one polyolefin resin and at least one polydiene resin. The resin composition can be made into a mulching film which, when exposed to the sunlight, photolytically degrades into a pulverized condition within a selected period of time.

摘要: A safety cap is adapted to assume a locked position on the neck of a container at which an annular cap rib rides within the concavity provided by an annular neck recess. In order to remove the cap, it must first be pulled outwardly to break this interengagement. Thereafter, the cap need only be rotated or turned to free the cap from neck threads. In order to mount the cap on the container neck, the cap is initially twisted to cause interengagement of the threads of the cap with the threads of the container neck. The threads are so arranged that when the cap rib engages the upper part of the neck recess, the last turn will force the rib into the recess and at the same time clear the threads from one another. In this position the cap will turn freely relative to the neck with the cap rib disposed within the neck recess.
