摘要: The present invention relates to a process for the production of a purified glucose isomerase which comprises contacting an impure extract containing glucose isomerase and soluble impurities with a weakly basic ion exchange material known to adsorb glucose isomerase; adding a first salt solution of a concentration which removes unadsorbed and weakly adsorbed impurities, but not glucose isomerase; and adding a second, buffered salt solution which elutes the adsorbed glucose isomerase.

摘要: The described principles provide a method and system for identifying potentially closed roads and potentially open roads based on reroute requests, and of accommodating the potential road closure. If a reroute request is received from a user on a given route, the avoided roads of the route may be deemed potentially closed. If a predetermined number or a statistically significant number of users treat the road as potentially closed in this manner, it may be deemed closed. Similarly, if a supposedly closed road is chosen by a predetermined number of users, as evidenced by reroute requests, then the supposedly closed road may be deemed to be open. Moreover, observation of reroute requests also allows the system to automatically learn a user's route preferences.

摘要: A system for a vehicle navigation accurately calculates travel times between locations and serves a vehicle driver request for the shortest time route. A navigation server compiles data of common road segments between two locations that are contained in route requests and subsequently calculates travel time between the two locations. When subsequent route requests contain further information pertaining to the same locations, the navigation server updates the travel time. Consequently, the navigation server can calculate the travel times of different routes from the same source vehicle location and destination location. When a vehicle driver requests directions from the vehicle's current location to a destination, the navigation server then provides directions for the shortest time route to the vehicle driver.

摘要: A fuel system for a mobile platform is provided. The system includes a crossfeed fuel transmission assembly having a single crossfeed valve that controls fuel consumption from a first fuel tank and a second fuel tank. The system additionally includes a balancing fuel transfer assembly fluidly connected to the crossfeed fuel transmission assembly. The balancing fuel transfer assembly includes a plurality of fuel balancing valves for controlling a transfer of fuel to the first and second fuel tanks. The fuel system further includes a fuel balancing controller for automatically controlling the fuel balancing valves to automatically control the transfer of fuel to the first and second fuel tanks.

摘要: An input stage for an integrated circuit device provides constant gain in selectable modes of either differential or single-ended operation. In one embodiment, transconductance devices are arranged so that the input impedance of the input stage matches the signal source impedance, regardless whether the input stage is selected to operate in a differential mode or in a single-ended mode. In accordance with an alternative embodiment, constant-gain and constant-impedance conditions are maintained in a configuration that comprises and input signal attenuator. In one application, the input stage may serve as a low-noise amplifier (LNA) for an integrated transceiver.
