摘要： An improved guidance system and method provide a packaged tour object having tour directions and media related to points of interest of a tour for playing via a telematics unit. A user is provided, via their telematics unit, with specific directions to access points of interest of the tour in a certain sequence, while the telematics unit optionally conveys media content to the user at appropriate points. The media content may be keyed to an upcoming site, and may comprise audio and/or visual information. In addition, user convenience information such as parking and ticketing information may be contained ion the packaged tour object for presentation via the telematics unit.

The method includes providing a wireless communications gateway between an input device and the vehicle telematics device. Data is physically entered into the input device. The physically entered data is communicated between the input device and the vehicle telematics device via the wireless communications gateway. A service request is placed to a call center based on the physically entered data.

摘要： Various examples of a methods and systems are disclosed herein for routing calls at a call center based on spoken languages. In one example, a method includes, but is not limited to, receiving, by a call center, information indicating a request for assistance from a driver of a vehicle and information indicating one or more languages spoken by the driver. The call center automatically identifies an available advisor who speaks at least one language spoken by the driver. The call center automatically directs the request for assistance to the available advisor.

摘要： A vehicle email notification system and method that accesses data from the vehicle as well as from one or more other sources and combines the information into an email that is then sent to the owner or other authorized subscriber. The email notifications are triggered by different events, some of which are independent of the vehicle (e.g., a monthly trigger), and others of which occur at the vehicle, such as a mileage or low oil life trigger. The notification system builds and sends to the subscriber an email message that contains the dynamic vehicle information and identifies any detected vehicle condition for which action is needed.

摘要： A vehicle email notification system and method in which triggers are used to initiate the generation and transmission of email messages that provide diverse types of dynamic vehicle information to the owner or other authorized subscriber. The email notifications are triggered by different events, some of which are independent of the vehicle (e.g., a 30 day trigger to provide the subscriber with a monthly vehicle status report), and others of which occur at the vehicle, such as a mileage or low oil life trigger. Upon occurrence of a trigger, the notification system builds and sends to the subscriber an email message that contains the dynamic vehicle information and identifies any detected vehicle condition for which action is needed.
