    摘要: An ink composition has controlled conductivity, and a digital printing system and a method of printing an ink employ an offset inkjet printing platform. The ink composition includes pigment particles dispersed in an oil-based dielectric carrier fluid with an oil-soluble dispersant. A concentration of dispersant is a fraction of a concentration of the pigment particles sufficient to render an electrical conductivity of the ink composition less than 100 pico Siemens per centimeter (pS/cm). The printing system includes an ink having an electrical conductivity less than or equal to about 300 pS/cm, an inkjet print head, a transfer medium, a developer, a remover and an image transferer. In the method of printing, the ink is nonelectrostatically jetted to the transfer medium, and developed into a fixed image. A portion of a supernatant is removed from the fixed image, and the fixed image is transferred to a media substrate.

    摘要: A method of forming a plurality of optical waveguide bundles may include arranging a plurality of optical waveguides in a substantially coplanar configuration, constraining a distal portion of the plurality of optical waveguides with an initial distal constraint, and pulling the constrained plurality of optical waveguides to a subsequent length. The subsequent length comprises a first bundle length and a second bundle length. The method also includes clustering a middle portion of the plurality of optical waveguides, wherein the middle portion retains the substantially coplanar configuration, constraining the middle portion with a middle constraint, and constraining a proximal portion of the plurality of optical waveguides with a proximal constraint. The method further includes pulling the constrained plurality of optical waveguides, separating the constrained plurality of optical waveguides at approximately the middle portion of the middle constraint, and splitting the proximal constraint to form a first optical waveguide bundle and a second optical waveguide bundle, wherein approximately a first half of the proximal constraint forms a subsequent distal constraint for a subsequent plurality of optical waveguides.

    摘要: A filter including multiple apertures for use in a camera's autofocus system is described. A variety of implementation examples of the filter are described. In one implementation, the filter includes an opaque portion which blocks light and apertures through which light travels. In another version, the apertures each include a color filter corresponding to a different color. In another example, the filter comprises a light blocking opaque portion with asymmetrically shaped apertures through which light travels. A defocus determination based on the filtered light is performed, and an adjustment to the distance between the optical system and an image sensing device is determined based on the determined defocus.
