摘要： A toner for developing an electrostatic image is disclosed. The toner comprises colored particles containing a resin and a colorant, the volume average particle diameter of said colored particles is 3 to 9 &mgr;m, the shape coefficient of said colored particles, which is described by the formula below, is 1.3 to 2.2, and the ratio of toner particles having a shape coefficient of 1.5 to 2.0 is at least 80 percent by number. Shape coefficient=[(maximum diameter/2)2×&pgr;]/(projection area) A developer and image forming method employing the toner are also disclosed.

摘要： An EL-combined sheet switch including a circuit board having a driving circuit mounted on its back surface and having a switch pattern formed on its front surface in combination with a contact sheet having a counter electrode on its back surface in such a manner that the counter electrode faces the switch pattern to construct a switch mechanism. On the front surface of the contact sheet is attached an EL sheet and a shield layer is provided between the contact sheet and the EL sheet. In the EL-combined sheet switch, as described, the electromagnetic noise from the EL sheet which might otherwise affect the operation of an electronic device is blocked by the shield layer. The shield layer is preferably connected with a ground electrode formed on the circuit board.

摘要： Operational data of an elevator are constantly and successively stored in RAM of a terminal supervisor unit. If the elevator develops a malfunction which lasts for a predetermined time, this malfunction is detected and reported from the terminal supervisor unit to a supervisor center, together with relevant data, such as the place of occurrence of the malfunction, the code number of the elevator in question and the kind of malfunction. The data relevant to the malfunction are collected at a time point when predetermined specific data indicate that a malfunction is likely. For this purpose, malfunction-indicating states of the specific data are preset and stored in a preset value storage unit, for each possible kind of malfunction, and are constantly compared with the corresponding actual data. By collecting relevant data before actual determination of a malfunction, an investigation for a cause of the malfunction through an analysis of data can be performed more accurately.
