    摘要: A hydraulic valve lift device for transmitting the motion of a cam to a push rod of an intake or exhaust valve of an engine, including a housing, a lifter slidably engaged by the housing and provided therein with an oil pressure chamber adapted to receive an oil, and a plunger provided with a flange portion and slidable in relation to the lifter. The flange portion of the plunger and cylindrical bore of the housing cooperate with each other to define therebetween a braking chamber into which oil is introduced. The device has a slit through which the oil in the braking chamber is relieved to the outside. The arrangement is such that the rate of oil relieved through the braking chamber is reduced as the plunger is lowered. The device further includes a relief valve for maintaining the pressure in the braking chamber below a predetermined pressure level.

The host computer has a division control unit that divides recording data to be recorded into plural blocks of recording data, and a transmission control unit that sequentially transmits the blocks of divided recording data. The recording device has a reception unit that stores the transmitted blocks of recording data to a receive buffer in the order received, and a recording control unit that records the received blocks of recording data to the recording medium. The dividing position where the division control unit divides the recording data to be recorded is a position where white space data is contained in the recording data to be recorded.

    摘要: A printing device includes a nozzle row for chromatic ink comprising K nozzles and a nozzle row for achromatic ink comprising (n·K) nozzles. In a color region, an image-forming operation is performed m times in which the movement direction of the nozzle rows switches alternately between forward and reverse directions, whereby a region of the image having a predetermined width is formed. The image-forming operation performed m times includes the image-forming operation performed once in which both of the nozzle rows for chromatic ink and for achromatic ink are used, and the image-forming operation performed (m−1) times in which only the nozzle row for chromatic ink is used. In a monochrome region, the image-forming operation is performed once in which only the nozzle row for achromatic ink is used, whereby a region of the image having a predetermined width is formed.

    摘要: When a pulley and an armature are coupled with each other, first and second permanent magnets place the movable member at a location where a magnetic resistance of an attracting magnetic circuit, which generates an attracting magnetic force to couple between the pulley and the armature, is reduced. In contrast, when the pulley and the armature are decoupled from each other, the movable member is placed at a location where the magnetic resistance of the attracting magnetic circuit is increased, and a magnetic resistance of a non-attracting magnetic circuit is reduced. Thereby, a coupled state or a decoupled state of the pulley and the armature can be maintained without an erroneous operation.

    摘要: Provided is a system for removing mercury from a mercury-containing exhaust gas, which contains a mercury chlorinating agent feed unit for feeding a mercury chlorinating agent to an flue exhaust gas containing nitrogen oxide, sulfur oxide and mercury, a reductive denitration unit for reducing the nitrogen oxide, and a desulfurization unit for removing the sulfur oxide, characterized in that the mercury chlorinating agent feed unit further comprises a heating unit for heating a non-gaseous agent for mercury chlorination which is in the non-gaseous form under normal temperature and normal pressure or a gasifying unit for obtaining a gaseous agent for mercury chlorination from the non-gaseous agent for mercury chlorination. The present invention makes it possible to provide a mercury removal process and system which have high reliability and can be operated at a low cost.

    摘要: A fluid machine includes a stationary scroll member and a movable scroll member. A second tooth portion of the movable scroll member is arranged to be revolved with respect to a first tooth portion of the stationary scroll member and to form an operating chamber between the movable scroll member and the stationary scroll member. The operating chamber is changeable in accordance with a revolution of the movable scroll member to be defined between two sliding contact portions, and is dividable into first and second operating chambers. The second tooth portion is provided with a passage portion through which an introducing port for introducing a fluid to the operating chamber communicates with the second operating chamber when the introducing port communicates with the first operating chamber. The passage portion disconnects the introducing port from the second operating chamber when the introducing port is disconnected from the first operating chamber.
