Abstract:
Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatuses, devices, systems and methods of communicating a wireless communication frame. For example, a wireless station may generate a frame including a header portion, the header portion including a legacy header, followed by a first non-legacy header, the header portion including a first indication to indicate whether or not the header portion is to include a second non-legacy header following the first non-legacy header, the header portion including a second indication to indicate whether or not channel bonding is to be used; and process transmission of the frame to at least one second wireless station over a directional wireless communication band.
Abstract:
Techniques for group-based spatial stream assignment signaling in 60 GHz wireless networks are described. According to various such techniques, a 60 GHz-capable transmitting device may be configured to define one or more DL MU-MIMO groups, each of which may comprise one or more respective 60 GHz-capable receiving devices. In various embodiments, the 60 GHz-capable transmitting device may include a DL MU-MIMO group ID within DL control information in a PHY header of a PPDU in order to indicate that the PPDU is directed to a DL MU-MIMO group corresponding to that DL MU-MIMO group ID. In some embodiments, DL MU-MIMO control information may comprise information specifying spatial stream assignments for the 60 GHz-capable receiving devices of that DL MU-MIMO group. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
An access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) (AP MLD) comprises a plurality of affiliated access points (APs) including a first affiliated AP (AP1) and a second affiliated AP (AP2). When the first affiliated AP (AP1) is configured to operate as a reporting AP, the reporting AP may encode MLD information in a management frame for transmission to one or more STAs of a station MLD (STA MLD). The MLD information may include a basic service set (BSS) identifier (ID) (BSSID) of the AP1 and may include a BSSID index of at least the AP2 when the AP2 is in a multiple BSSID (MBSSID) set that does not include the BSSID of the AP1. The MLD information may further include at least one of a delivery traffic indication map (DTIM) period of the AP2. The AP1 may decode a frame from a non-AP STA of the STA MLD that includes a BSSID of the MBSSID set for association or reassociation.
Abstract:
This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to uplink location measurement report (LMR) feedback. A device may perform availability window negotiation during a negotiation phase of a location determination associated with a first initiating device of one or more initiating devices. The device may determine a status of a first LMR associated with the first initiating device. The device may cause to send a polling request to one more initiating devices during a first availability window. The device may identify a polling response from at least one of the one or more initiating devices. The device may perform one or more sounding measurements with the at least one of the one or more initiating devices during a measurement phase. The device may cause to send a trigger frame to the at least one of the one or more initiating devices.
Abstract:
Techniques for power saving by remote wireless mobile devices are provided, in particular by stations (STAs) during downlink (DL) multiple-user multiple-input and multiple-output (MU-MIMO) transmissions in an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11ay network when reverse direction (RD) transmissions are either enabled and not enabled. Various embodiments enable each STA in a group of STAs to determine an order in which the STAs are requested to send a block acknowledgement (BACK) and which STAs will be granted an RD transmission. Further, a duration of each RD transmission is provided to each STA. Based on the provided information, each STA can determine times to enter a power saving mode. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
An extremely high-throughput (EHT) station (STA) encodes a management frame to include a quality-of-service (QoS) capability element that includes a QoS information field configured to signal QoS redundancy capability. The EHT STA may set a QoS redundancy bit in the QoS information field of the QoS capabilities element to indicate (i.e., signal) that the EHT STA supports redundancy for QoS data frames. The EHT STA may include an Extended Capabilities element in the management frame and set a new redundancy indicator bit in the Extended Capabilities element to indicate (i.e., signal) that the EHT STA supports redundancy for a select subset of IEEE802.11 management frames.
Abstract:
This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to uplink (UL) null data packet (NDP) format for passive location. A device may cause to send a trigger frame that solicits poll response to one or more anchor stations involved in a passive ranging measurement. The device may identify one or more polling response frames received from the one or more anchor stations. The device may cause to send a trigger frame that solicits uplink null data packet (NDP) to the one or more anchor stations, wherein the uplink NDP comprises an indication of a high efficiency (HE) single user (SU) frame type. The device may identify one or more uplink NDPs received from the one or more anchor stations.
Abstract:
The disclosure provides some embodiments for securing long training field (LTF) sequence. A responding station (RSTA) configures a location management report (LMR) frame. The LMR frame is configured to include an LMR in respect of a previous measurement, and data to be used to generate a null data packet (NDP) for a current measurement that is to be performed following the previous measurement. The RSTA further encrypts the LMR frame using protected management frames (PMF) scheme, and transmits the encrypted LMR frame to an initiating station (ISTA) for generating an LTF sequence for the current measurement. In response to receiving an NDP announcement (NDPA) and an NDP for the current measurement from the ISTA, the RSTA generates an NDP for the current measurement based on the NDPA and the data using CCMP, and transmits the NDP to the ISTA.
Abstract:
Acknowledgment management techniques for UL MU transmissions are described. In various embodiments, an AP may observe a limit with respect to a number of TIDs for which corresponding A-MPDUs are to be acknowledged in a given immediate/compressed multi-user (MU) block ACK (BA). In some embodiments, the AP may indicate such a TID limit in a broadcast transmission, such as a beacon or management frame. In various other embodiments, the AP may indicate such a TID limit in a response for a capability request, such as a Probe Response, or in a specific allocation frame, such as a trigger frame, for all STAs participating in UL MU transmissions. In various embodiments, a single TID limit may be indicated that is understood to apply to each STA. In some other embodiments, the AP may indicate a respective TID limit for each of multiple STAs. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for report identification and power control for ranging in a wireless network are disclosed. An apparatus of a responding station (RSTA) is disclosed, where the apparatus comprises processing circuitry configured to perform ranging with a initiating stations (ISTAs) and maintain a separate sounding dialogue token for each of the ISTAs and transmit a corresponding sounding dialogue token for a ISTA in a trigger frame for ranging and sounding or a null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame, and in a responding to initiating location measurement report. Apparatuses of RSTAs and ISTAS are disclosed that perform power control management during non-trigger-based ranging.
