Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured for physical uplink control channel (PUSCH) repetition in an fifth-generation (5G) new radio (NR) network decodes a downlink control information (DCI) format that includes a scheduling grant for a PUSCH transmission. For a codebook-based PUSCH transmission, the DCI format indicates at least a first and a second transmit precoder matrix indicator (TPMI) index for PUSCH repetition. The UE may apply a precoder matrix determined from the first TPMI index to encode a PUSCH for a first PUSCH transmission occasion of the PUSCH repetition and may apply a precoder matrix determined from the second TPMI index to encode the PUSCH for a second PUSCH transmission occasion. For a non-codebook-based PUSCH transmission, the DCI format indicates at least a first and a second sounding reference signal (SRS) resource indicator (SRI) for PUSCH repetition. The UE may apply the first SRI to encode the PUSCH for the first PUSCH transmission occasion and may apply the second SRI to encode the PUSCH for the second PUSCH transmission occasion.

Abstract: Embodiments of a Generation Node-B (gNB), User Equipment (UE) and methods for communication are generally described herein. The gNB may allocate a resource pool of physical resource blocks (PRBs) and sub-frames for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) sidelink transmissions. The gNB may receive, from a UE, an uplink control message that indicates that the UE requests a V2V sidelink transmission of a prioritized message. The gNB may select, for the V2V sidelink transmission of the prioritized message, one or more PRBs and one or more sub-frames. The gNB may transmit, to the UE and to other UEs, a downlink control message that indicates: the selected PRBs, the selected sub-frames, and that the other UEs are to mute sidelink transmissions in the selected PRBs in the selected sub-frames to enable the V2V sidelink transmission of the prioritized message.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for New Radio (NR) communications above a 52.6 GHz carrier frequency, the processing circuitry is to decode radio resource control (RRC) signaling to obtain a cyclic shift value in time domain. The cyclic shift value is associated with a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) antenna port (AP) of a plurality of available DM-RS APs. A single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence corresponding to the DM-RS AP is generated using a base sequence and the cyclic shift value. The single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence is encoded with uplink data for transmission to a base station using a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using a carrier above the 52.6 GHz carrier frequency.

Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE) and methods for device-to-device (D2D) communication are generally described herein. In some embodiments, the UE may transmit a scheduling assignment (SA) control message that indicates time transmission intervals (TTIs) to be used for a D2D transmission of a data payload by the UE to a receiving UE during an SA cycle. The UE may transmit the data payload during the TTIs indicated in the SA control message. The TTIs used for the transmission of the data payload may be included in a group of D2D TTIs reserved for D2D transmissions. In some embodiments, a time resource pattern for transmission (T-RPT) may indicate a sequence of TTI indexes for the TTIs used for the transmission of the data payload.
