    摘要: A multilayered coplanar waveguide (CPW) filter unit and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. A plate having a capacitance element is formed on or below a CPW layer including a signal line for transmitting a signal and a ground plane. As the filter unit has a multilayered structure, characteristic impedance may be reduced without increasing the width of the signal line. Where an inductor line is inserted between the signal line and the plate, a clear frequency response curve may be obtained without performing an additional process or increasing the area of the filter unit.

    摘要: A parallel coupled line filter is miniaturized by using lumped capacitors and grounding the capacitors. The parallel coupled line filter includes a parallel coupled line, a first capacitor connected to one of two input ports of the parallel coupled line, and a second capacitor connected to one of two output ports of the parallel coupled line. The parallel coupled filter can be miniaturized to a desirable size, on the basis of relatively simple theoretical knowledge. The parallel coupled line filter exhibits excellent frequency selectivity and improved harmonic characteristics.

    摘要: Provided is an electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structure, and particularly, an overlay EBG structure in which a plurality of vias and a plurality of plates are formed at intervals on a central signal line in such a manner that the vias and plates extend vertically from a substrate in order to reduce leakage loss of an electromagnetic wave through the substrate. Therefore, it is possible to prevent an electromagnetic wave passing through a transmission line from being lost through the substrate, to obtain desired frequency characteristics by adjusting the dimensions of the vias and plates, and to manufacture the overlay EBG structure using an existing CMOS process without having to perform any additional process.

    摘要: A wireless communication terminal and a method for controlling power and using a channel by adjusting a channel bandwidth of the wireless communication terminal. The wireless communication terminal generates a plurality of channels by dividing at least part of a frequency band for ultra-wideband communications to a plurality of frequency bands, receives a chaotic signal having a plurality of frequency components in the channels, and adjusts a frequency bandwidth which forms the channel when a certain condition is satisfied. Accordingly, since the chaotic carrier is transmitted and received in the narrow frequency band by adjusting the frequency bandwidth, the power consumption can be reduced drastically and the high-quality communications are feasible between the portable terminal and the wireless headset in the optimized channel environment. Furthermore, a greater number of portable terminals and wireless headsets can execute the radio communications in a certain wireless communication range.
