Each of a number of target edge pairs is defined by two edges of one or more of the polygons. A search box having a boundary coincident with a given edge of the edges of the polygons is specified. Whether the search box includes at least one edge of the edges of the polygons in addition to the given edge is determined. Where the search box includes at least one edge, at least one of the target edge pairs is specified as including the given edge and one of the at least one edge. For each target edge pair that has been specified, a manufacturability penalty value is determined. A dynamic manufacturability constraint table and a non-zero multiplier table are maintained.

    摘要: An apparatus protects a battery by comparison of full charge capacity. The apparatus includes a fuse connected on a circuit path along which a charging or discharging current flows, a fuse control switch for selectively opening or closing an operating current applied to the fuse, and a controller for calculating an actual value and a reference value of a full charge capacity of a battery, comparing the actual value with the reference value, and then controlling the fuse control switch according to the comparison result to melt and cut the fuse. Thus, an abnormal state of a battery may be found and controlled at an early stage, so it is possible to prevent any problem such as firing and thus improve the safety of a battery.

    摘要: A camera system for a vehicle includes a camera unit mounted on the vehicle for viewing an area outside the vehicle. A image processing unit receives image data from the camera unit. A control unit receives vehicle operation data including vehicle speed data. A display unit is configured to transition between a screen image defined by a first viewing angle and a screen image defined by a second viewing angle. The first viewing angle and the second viewing angle extend substantially in a vertical plane, and the first viewing angle is greater than the second viewing angle. The display unit further displays supplemental information based on the vehicle operation data, the supplemental information includes vehicle speed information and information indicating a transition behavior of the display unit configured to transition between the first viewing angle and the second viewing angle. A method for controlling a camera system is also provided.

    摘要: An interactive, web-based codeset selection and development tool transmits hypertext documents from a web server to a web browser of a developer of microcontroller code for a new remote control device. The hypertext documents include selection criteria for groups of codesets stored in a central database of codesets. The developer selects the most appropriate codesets for the new remote control device using the selection criteria. The selection and development tool converts each of the selected codesets into a plurality of strings of timing information. The strings are encrypted and transmitted to the developer along with a signal engine. The developer loads the encrypted strings and the signal engine into a new microcontroller that has a factory-programmed decryption key. The microcontroller decrypts the encrypted strings of timing information and uses them and the signal engine to generate operational signals that control various functions of electronic consumer devices.
