摘要： Methods and devices are described for providing wireless stations (STAs) with two sets of enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) parameters. Legacy EDCA parameters that are for single user (SU) operations and may be used by both high-efficiency (HE) STAs and legacy STAs without multi-user (MU) capability. MU EDCA parameters are defined to be more restrictive than legacy EDCA parameters in favoring MU operations. Embodiments are described that define sets of rules for regulating how STAs capable of both SU and MU uplink operations can use the different sets of EDCA parameters.

摘要： Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for communicating elements between multi-link devices are disclosed. Apparatuses of a first station (STA) affiliated with a multi-link device (MLD) are disclosed, where the apparatuses comprise processing circuitry configured to determine a sequence number as a next sequence number of a sequence number space where the sequence number space is indexed by a MLD media access control (MAC) address of a second MLD, and wherein the processing circuitry is further configured to encode a media access control (MAC) management protocol data unit (MMPDU) in a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU), the MMDPU including the sequence number, a frame body, and an address 1 field, the address 1 field indicating an address of a second station (STA) affiliated with the second MLD, and configure the first STA to transmit the PPDU to the second station.

摘要： An extremely high-throughput (EHT) station (STA) is configured for transmission of a control response frame for rate selection. In response to a frame carried in an EHT PPDU soliciting a control response frame, the EHT STA may calculate a duration of a non-HT PPDU containing the control response frame sent at a primary rate. The EHT STA may also encode a high-efficient (HE) single-user (SU) PPDU (HE SU PPDU) for transmission to carry the solicited control response frame when a transmit time of the encoded HE SU PPDU is less than the calculated duration of the non-HT PPDU, or encode an EHT PPDU for transmission to carry the solicited control response frame when a transmit time of the encoded EHT PPDU is less than the calculated duration of the non-HT PPDU. A reduction in overhead may be achieved by using an HE SU PPDU or an EHT PPDU instead of a non-HT PPDU to carry a solicited control response frame.

摘要： An access point (AP) station (STA) (AP STA) that is part of an AP multi-link device (MLD) may be configured as a reporting AP may encode a BSS Transition Management (BTM) request frame for transmission to one or more associated non-AP stations (STAs). The BTM request frame may include a neighbor report element encoded to include information about one or more neighbor APs. The neighbor report element may indicate whether the one or more neighbor APs identified in the neighbor report element are part of an AP MLD and, when a neighbor AP is indicated to be part of an AP MLD whether the reporting AP is part of the indicated AP MLD. The AP STA may decode a reassociation frame from one of the non-AP STAs for transition from one of the AP STAs of the AP MLD to one of the neighbor APs.

The processing circuitry may be further configured to determine a first maximum value of N receive (Rx) SS for a MCS and a bandwidth (BW), where the first maximum value of N Rx SS is equal to a largest number of Rx SS that supports the MCS for the BW as indicated by the supported HE-MCS and NSS set field; and, determine additional maximum values based on an operating mode (OM) notification frame, and a value of an OM control (OMC) field. Signaling for BW in 6 GHz is disclosed.

A first wireless device encodes for transmission of a wake-up packet of a LP-WUR to a second wireless device, the wake-up packet to wake up a WLAN (wireless local area network) radio of the second wireless device. Upon decoding a response frame from the second wireless device received during a predefined time period: the first wireless device encodes for transmission of a data packet to the WLAN radio of the second wireless device. Upon failing to receive the response frame from the second wireless device during the predefined time period: the first wireless device encodes for retransmission of the wake-up packet to the second wireless device.

摘要： Methods, computer readable media, and wireless apparatuses are disclosed for a TXOP duration field disable setting in a HE preamble, such as HE-SIG-A. An apparatus of a wireless device can include processing circuitry configured to decode a HE PPDU received from a second wireless device, the HE PPDU including a first TXOP duration field in a PHY portion of the HE PPDU. The processing circuitry can detect whether the TXOP duration field includes a disable flag based on bit values of the TXOP duration field. The disable flag can indicate absence of duration information in the TXOP duration field. Upon detecting the disable flag, a response HE PPDU can be encoded for transmission to the second wireless device. The response HE PPDU can include a second TXOP duration field with a disable flag within a PHY portion of the response HE PPDU.

The link may be aggregated at an upper medium access control (MAC) entity, which may communicate with multiple lower MAC entities for the channels. The upper MAC entity may assign packet numbers (PNs) to a sequence of MAC service data units (MSDUs) for the aggregated link and may allocate the MSDUs to the channels. The PNs may enable reordering at a receiving entity. The lower MAC entities may assign sequence numbers (SNs) to MAC protocol data units (MPDUs). The SNs may enable acknowledgement at a receiving entity. The MPDUs may include the SNs and the corresponding PNs.

An apparatus is disclosed comprising processing circuitry configured to: determine an overlapping basic service set (OBSS) power detect (PD)(OBSS-PD) and a transmit power (TXP) based on first parameters, and if the wireless device has not received a frame from an OBSS master station that does not belong to a same management domain as the wireless device, determine the OBSS-PD and TXP based on second parameters. The second parameters may permit the wireless device to set the OBSS-PD to a higher value without lowering the TXP. The first parameters require that OBSS-PD and TXP be determined based on a minimum OBSS-PD and a maximum TXP, and require the OBSS-PD to be lowered if the TX power is raised.

The apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to: decode a first portion of a first packet; and if the first portion indicates the first packet was transmitted by a second HE AP or station and that the first packet is an overlapping basic service set (OBSS) packet, then if a preamble detect energy is below a threshold, cause to be transmitted a second packet simultaneously with a portion of the first packet after the first portion. The processing circuitry may be configured to determine the first portion was transmitted by the second HE AP or station if a field in a physical (PRY) header or a second field in a media access control (MAC) header indicate the first packet was transmitted by the second HE AP or station.
