摘要: A mold for imprint capable of forming a reduced seam or seamless pattern, on a surface of a substrate, having larger area than that of the mold includes a first pattern area comprising a plurality of first recesses; and a second pattern area, comprising a plurality of second recesses, for being used as an alignment mark. The first pattern area and the second pattern area have an equal height at their outermost surfaces. The first recesses and the second recesses have different depths. The first pattern area and the second pattern area have an equal cyclic interval.

摘要: A high quality gray scale (monochrome) image in which influences of “recorded color deviation” and “color transition” are suppressed is formed even in the case of a slightly uneven discharge amount. When a gray scale (monochrome) mode is set, in the entire range of a luminance signal, density signals corresponding to achromatic dots and small chromatic dots respectively are generated based on the luminance signal so that the density signal corresponding to the achromatic dots has a greater value than that of the density signal corresponding to the small chromatic dots. Accordingly, even a slight “recorded color deviation” that occurs when the achromatic dots are recorded can be corrected by the small chromatic dots having a hue opposite to the direction of color deviation, and a high quality gray scale image in which influences of “recorded color deviation” and “color transition” are suppressed can be formed.

摘要: For example, a display element (1) formed by an organic EL element and a control element formed by a MOS transistor (2) are connected in series between a driving line (6) to be driven with a voltage or a current and a ground. A gate of the MOS transistor (2) is connected to a control line (7) through a nonvolatile data holding section such as a ferroelectric capacitor (3), and control data of the MOS transistor (2) can be held in a floating state. As a result, the ON/OFF data of each pixel are held in the floating state, and display data are rewritten to only a pixel to be changed in a display state of ON/OFF or the like and held data are displayed on a pixel which is not changed in the display data. Consequently, it is possible to obtain a nonvolatile display device capable of reducing power consumption and operating with a small battery.

摘要: A light control apparatus including a plurality of two-dimensionally arranged pixels, each of the plurality of pixels comprising a first storage element which stores a luminance value of a present frame for the pixel; a second storage element which stores a preliminary luminance value for the pixel; and a switching element which changes the luminance value for the pixel by transferring the luminance value stored in the second storage element to the first storage element.
