摘要: An outer casing of an electric equipment including: a front panel; a base case having a bottom plate portion and a pair of side plate portions; a top case having a roof portion, a pair of side plate portions, a roof portion protruding piece, and a pair of side plate protruding pieces; and a fixing member. A longitudinal width of each of side plate protruding pieces is set smaller than a longitudinal width of the recess portion for a predetermined length. The outer casing further includes a pair of pedestals integrally formed at both end portions of a bottom face of the recess portion with height thereof being set substantially the same as the predetermined length.

摘要: In an optical cable made by forming a sheath on enclosing one or more optical fiber cores and a tension member, high reliability is obtained through the avoidance of adverse effects on the optical fiber core of a curving tendency of the tension member prevailing over the resistance of the sheath to curving (for example, due to the installed optical cable being heated by electrical equipment in proximity) and the optical cable consequently curving. Taking the plane containing the curve formed by the tension member due to its curving tendency as a base plane, the optical fiber core is disposed in the proximity of the position of the image formed when the tension member is projected in a direction perpendicular with respect to the base plane onto a flat plane separate from and parallel with the base plane. If the optical fiber core is an optical fiber ribbon comprising a plurality of optical fibers lined up in a flat plane and coated en bloc, then as an additional condition, an alignment line obtained by joining the centers of the optical fibers at both sides of the optical fiber ribbon is disposed perpendicular to the base plane.

摘要: Silicon oxynitride sintered body is obtained by sintering a base starting material mixture comprising silicon oxynitride componentand a solution of at least one alkoxide selected from alkoxides of at least one element selected from the group consisting of Al, Sc, Y and rare-earth elements.Fiber-reinforced ceramic sintered body is obtained by sintering the base starting material mixture further inclusing 5-40% by weight of SiC whiskers and/or .beta.-Si.sub.3 N.sub.4 whiskers, wherein alkoxide component is 0.5-30% by weight as oxides. The alkoxide component is deposited on the other material powders and calcined to provide well dispersed oxide layer on the powder surface which forms uniform matrix phase giving high density by sintering. Sintered bodies (with or without whiskers) have low deterioration at high temperatures.

摘要: AlN-base sintered body with a high thermal conductivity is produced by:preparing a compact of a material comprising 100 parts by weight of aluminum nitride and 0.1-10 parts by weight, calculated on metal element, of at least one component selected from the group consisting of elements of Groups 4a, 5a and 6a of the Periodic Table, and compounds thereof; andsintering said compact at a temperature ranging from 1500.degree. to 2000.degree. C. under a non-oxidizing atmosphere having a source of boron and/or carbon supply. The compounds include oxides, borides, nitrides and carbides. The elements include W, Mo, Ta and Ti. Oxides are converted to other compounds through sintering. This AlN-base sintered body has good wettability with metal for metallization and enables simultaneous sintering with metallization layer. Multilayer laminated circuit boards or substrates thereof can be produced.

摘要: A silicon carbide-graphite composite material is disclosed. The composite material includes graphite as a secondary phase which are dispersed uniformly in a grain boundary of the silicon carbide. The graphite have an average grain size of not more than 3 .mu.m and are present in a proportion of 1 to 20 vol % based on the volume of the silicon carbide. The composite material has a density greater than 90% of the theoretical density. A process for producing the silicon carbide-graphite composite material is also disclosed. The composite material is a high-density and high-strength material.
