    摘要: An image forming apparatus has an image forming unit together with a fixing unit which uses two rotating members to form a nip in which the recording material with an unfixed image is fed. A driving unit drives the rotatable fixing members and a flywheel is used for increasing an inertial force of that drive, there also being a connecting device which selectively connects the flywheel with the driving unit together with a switching device that switches operation of that connecting device in accordance with the type of recording material being used or the density of the image to be printed.

    摘要: A miniature zoom lens has, sequentially from an object side, a first lens group G1 having negative refractive power, a second lens group G2 having positive refractive power and including a diaphragm, and a third lens group G3 having positive refractive power. The first lens group G1 is formed from a single negative lens L1. The second lens group G2 is formed from, sequentially from the object side, a single positive lens L2 and a single negative lens L3. The third lens group G3 is formed form a single positive lens L4. The first lens group G1 is immovable and the second lens group G2 and the third lens group G3 move in an optical axis direction at variable power. The miniature zoom lens provides a large zoom ratio while keeping a constant total length.

    摘要: A resin composition for use in a hybrid lens containing a radical polymerizable monomer and a silane coupling agent. A specified di(meth)acrylate compound and a specified mono(meth)acrylate compound are used preferably as the radical polymerizable monomer. A hybrid lens molding die in which a glass lens base material and a glass mold of transferring an aspherical shape are opposed to each other is used, a resin composition for use in the hybrid lens is filled between them and UV-rays are irradiated from both sides of the glass lens base material and the glass mold to manufacture a hybrid lens in which the resin layer is bonded on the glass lens base material. A high performance hybrid lens having a resin layer of large thickness, with a large localized thickness and capable of increasing the aspherical quantity can be manufactured by the method.
