    摘要: A method for monitoring a control channel in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes: dividing a control region of a subframe into a common search space having a variable size and monitored by every user equipment (UE) within a cell and a dedicated search space having a variable size and including at least one UE-specific search space to be monitored by at least one UE within the cell, and monitoring a control channel within the common search space; and monitoring a control channel within the UE-specific search space included in the dedicated search space. The performance of an overall system can be improved by effectively monitoring a downlink control channel.

In particular, the method comprises: mapping part of the ACK/NACK signals to selection information, which is composed of a combination of message areas and reference signal areas; independently selecting one message area and one reference signal from a plurality of control channel resources that are located in the same resource block, based on the mapped selection information; allocating the selected message area to the other ACK/NACK signals; and transmitting the ACK/NACK signal to a base station by using the selected message area and the selected reference signal area.

A terminal sets a common downlink carrier for monitoring a plurality of candidate control channels for receiving common control information among multiples carriers, and monitors the candidate control channels within a common search space of the common downlink carrier. The terminal receives common control information on a control channel which has been successfully decoded from among a plurality of candidate control channels. The invention can reduce a load due to blind decoding of the control channels and decrease battery consumption of the terminal.
