摘要: The present invention provides a gene that codes for a protein, wherein the protein is an anthocyanin 5-O-glucosyltransferase, which is an enzyme that transfers a glycoside to the 5 position of a flavonoid. The disclosed anthocyanin 5-O-glucosyltransferases were isolated from Perilla fruescens, Verbena hybrida, Torenia hybrida, and Petunia hybrida. Also disclosed are genes that code for a protein having a modified amino acid sequence relative to the above amino acid sequence and having activity that transfers a glycoside to the 5 position of a flavonoid, and a process for producing the above protein using said gene. This gene can be used to artificially alter the color of plants.

摘要: In an electrical connector assembly, housings are locked with each other by locking a rear holder provided in a first connector with a cooperating second connector. In a rear holder main body 52 of a rear holder 51 there are formed a plurality of resilient clamping lances 53 which clamp connection terminals 67 inserted into respective terminal receiving holes 62 formed in a housing main body 61. At a middle upper portion of the rear holder 51 there is provided a resilient locking arm 54, and a locking claw 55 is formed on the locking arm. When the housing main body 61 is inserted into a housing main body 71 of a cooperating connector, connection terminals 67 and 72 are coupled with each other. The locking claw 55 provided on the locking arm 54 of the rear holder 51 is engaged with a locking portion 73 of the housing main body 71 of the cooperating second connector.

摘要: Two groups of inclined lines, which are included in a spurious wave scattering means, are formed at opposite angles with respect to each other in the vicinity of an upper edge of a substrate. The angles of the inclined lines are such that they are close to perpendicular toward the central portion of the substrate, and gradually decrease toward the edges thereof. In a similar manner, two other groups inclined lines, which are also included in the spurious wave scattering means, are formed at opposite angles with respect to each other, with gradually changing angles. The spurious waves that reach these regions are diffuse by the inclined lines, so that they are not propagated to converters (sensors). Three rectangular spurious wave scattering means, formed by inclined lines, inclined at angles other than 45°, also function to diffuse and eliminate spurious waves that propagate along the front surface of the substrate.

摘要: The present invention provides a studless tire excellent in performance on ice and snow in which digging friction is improved without losing adhesion friction. The studless tire has a tread comprising specific short fiber or plate-like material dispersed in diene rubber so as to be oriented in the tread thickness direction, wherein when measured at 25° C. the tread has a complex elastic modulus E1 in the tread thickness direction, and the sheet has a complex elastic modulus Eα in the extrusion direction and a complex elastic modulus Eβ in a 90° direction from the extrusion direction, when the rubber composition is made into 2 mm sheets with a roller and these moduli fulfill the following equation, 60≦(E1−Eβ)/(Eα−Eβ)×100≦100 and the tread has a specific tread rubber hardness. The tire is obtained using a tread prepared by extruding a rubber composition containing diene rubber and specific short fiber or plate-type material in a tube shape, thereby orienting the short fiber in the circumferential direction of the tube shaped rubber, then cutting the obtained rubber sheet parallel to the extrusion direction, rotating each piece 90° and laminating.
