摘要: A radiation image storage panel comprises at least a substrate and a phosphor layer overlaid upon the substrate. The phosphor layer contains a binder, a phosphor, and at least one kind of organic phosphorus compound represented by Formula (1): (R)nPO(OM)3−n  (1) in which R represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group, which may be optionally substituted by a substituent; M represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, or —N+(R1)4, where R1 represents an alkyl group having at most two carbon atoms; and n represents an integral number of 1 or 2. The radiation image storage panel exhibits enhanced dispersibility of phosphor particles and a high sensitivity and yields little noise.

摘要: A power steering control system is provided with a road surface reaction torque detector in which a motor inertia torque is subtracted from a value obtained by adding steering torque and motor torque, and the value is passed through two stages of primary filters to obtain a road surface reaction torque. In such a computation, the inertia term of the steering wheel manipulation force does not depend on frequency and high frequency components do not bring about any unusually large steering wheel return force. Therefore, a driver can drive without difficulty in adapting to the power steering.

摘要: The present invention relates to a danger avoidance system capable of avoiding the collision of a vehicle against obstacles and of reducing the effect of collision on a vehicle. A traveling condition deciding unit decides whether or not the vehicle is in a dangerous traveling condition on the basis of the respective outputs of a vehicle monitoring system and an ambient condition monitoring system. A danger recognition confirming unit decides whether or not the driver is aware of the dangerous traveling condition on the basis of the respective outputs of a driver monitoring system, the ambient condition monitoring system and the vehicle monitoring system. When the traveling condition deciding unit decides that the vehicle is in the dangerous traveling condition, measures to avoid danger or to reduce the effect of collision on the vehicle are taken only when the driver is not aware of the dangerous traveling condition. Therefore, a danger avoidance effecting unit does not execute the measures to avoid danger or to reduce the effect of collision on the vehicle when the driver is aware of the dangerous traveling condition.

摘要: Left side panels and right side panel are produced in a left side panel production line and a right side panel production line, respectively By vertical lifters, each left side panel and each right side panel are lifted at the delivery stations and then transferred to runners at work transfer positions. The runner with the left side panel held thereon travels along a rail while the runner with the right side panel held thereon travels along a rail. Both runners are stopped at a standby position and then conveyed to a runner transfer position simultaneously. The runners with the left and right side panels held thereon, respectively, are loaded on the traverser and then conveyed to a drop lifter arranged above a main body assembly line. The left and right side panels are transferred to the drop lifter. The drop lifter then descends and feeds the left and right side panels simultaneously on opposite sides of a floor panel in the main body assembly line.

摘要: A method for forming a direct positive image composed of the step of developing with a surface developer an imagewise exposed photosensitive material compose of support having thereon at least one photosensitive emulsion layer containing unprefogged silver halide grains capable of forming an internal latent image; the at least the photosensitive emulsion layer composed of hexagonal tabular silver halide grains in an amount of at least 30 wt %, based on the total silver amount of silver halide grains therein; the hexagonal tabular grains having two parallel hexagonal faces, the ratio of the longest side to the shortest side of the hexagon being at most 2; the aspect ratio of the hexagonal tabular grains being from 2 to 8; and the hexagonal tabular grains having a monodisperse size distribution. The method provides increases in processing speed, maximum density, and contrast in the toe portion, and an improvement in graininess, even when exhausted processing solutions are used.
