    摘要: Processes and systems for utilizing products from DME synthesis in converting oxygenates to olefins are provided that include removing a DME-reactor effluent from a DME reactor, wherein the DME effluent includes DME, water, and methanol; separating carbon dioxide gas from the DME reactor effluent in a liquid gas separator to produce a degassed effluent stream. The processes and systems can include feeding the degassed effluent stream to an oxygenate to olefin reactor to produce an olefin containing effluent, wherein the olefin containing effluent further includes oxygenates. Alternatively, the processes and systems can include providing the degassed effluent stream to a DME column to produce a DME feedstock and a solvent stream, wherein the solvent stream includes methanol and water; feeding the DME feedstock to an oxygenate to olefin reactor to produce an olefin containing effluent, wherein the olefin containing effluent further includes oxygenates; and contacting at least a portion of the olefin containing effluent with the solvent stream in a solvent contacting zone to produce an olefin containing raffinate stream and an oxygenate containing extract.

    摘要: Processing schemes and arrangements for the production of olefins and, more particularly, for the production of light olefins from a methanol feedstock are provided. Such processing schemes and arrangements integrate oxygenate conversion at higher pressures and with subsequent heavy olefins conversion processing to produce additional light olefin products. In particular, this invention provides an efficient method for removal of heavy oxygenate materials such as aldehydes and ketones through the recirculation of a mixed water/methanol solvent from a reactor in which methanol is converted into dimethyl ether and water.

    摘要: The present invention provides a reactor system having: (1) a first reactor receiving an oxygenate component and a hydrocarbon component and capable of converting the oxygenate component into a light olefin and the hydrocarbon component into alkyl aromatic compounds; (2) a separator system for providing a first product stream containing a C3 olefin, a second stream containing a C7 aromatic, and a third stream containing C8 aromatic compounds; (3) a first line connecting the separator to the inlet of the first reactor for conveying the second stream to the first reactor; (4) a second line in fluid communication with the separator system for conveying the C3 olefin to a propylene recovery unit, and (4) a third line in fluid communication with the separator system for conveying the C8 aromatic compounds to a xylene recovery unit.

    摘要: This invention relates to a dehydrogenation process using a layered catalyst composition. The catalyst composition comprises an inner core such as alpha-alumina, and an outer layer bonded to the inner core composed of an outer refractory inorganic oxide such as gamma-alumina. The outer layer has uniformly dispersed thereon a platinum group metal such as platinum and a promoter metal such as tin. The composition also contains a modifier metal such as lithium. The catalyst composition shows improved durability and selectivity for dehydrogenating hydrocarbons, especially at dehydrogenation conditions comprising a low water concentration.
