摘要: Method and arrangements for scheduling transmission resources in a first node in a cell comprised within a wireless communication network. The first node is arranged to communicate over a communication channel with at least one user equipment within the cell. The communication is made by using a frame comprising uplink resources and downlink resources with a switching point between the downlink resources and the uplink resources. The method comprises the step of obtaining a parameter referring to the expected transmission quality of the communication and/or the expected coherence properties of the communication channel. The method also comprises scheduling a transmission on an uplink or downlink resource. The resource is located on a time distance from the switching point. The time distance is based on the obtained parameter.

摘要: A terminal is configured to receive data packets from a base station and provide feedback to the base station. The feedback concerns the reception status of the received data packets and may comprise an ACK/NAK. A method in the terminal comprises receiving and decoding data packets from the base station in a subframe. It is further established whether any data packet within the received subframe is not correctly received and detected whether any subframe, expected to be received, has been missed. Further, acknowledgement information ACK/NAK is generated, and a scrambling code is selected with which the ACK/NAK is scrambled. The scrambled ACK/NAK is then sent to the base station, concerning the reception status of the data packets within the received subframes.

摘要: The present invention relates to methods and arrangements in a base station and a user equipment for determining an uplink transmission timing correction for communication in a telecommunication system in which aggregation of component carriers is applied. The base station receives a signal from the user equipment on a uplink (UL) component carrier and measures the arrival time of the signal. A timing correction of the UL transmission timing based on the arrival time of the signal is determined. Thereupon the base station determines for which of the uplink component carriers used by the user equipment the timing correction is valid. The timing correction and the validity information is sent to the user equipment. The user equipment adjusts the UL transmission timing for each UL component carrier the timing correction is valid for.

摘要: A method in a terminal for providing an ACK/NAK message to a base station is provided. The terminal counts the number of assigned downlink subframes detected from the base station resulting in k. The terminal then establishes whether each of a number of transport blocks comprised in the counted k downlink subframes is correctly received or not. In the case when each one of the transport blocks, comprised in the k downlink subframes is estimated as correctly received the terminal provides to the base station an encoded ACK message for the k subframes, which comprises k, the number of subframes.

摘要: The present invention relates to methods and arrangements in a wireless communication system that enable the use of multi-codeword transmission and ACK/NACK compression with low performance loss. It also enables the use of advanced receivers of reasonable complexity. This is achieved by a solution based on the even distribution of the symbols of separately coded blocks of information bits over the available physical resources before transmission. Each physical resource will thus carry a mixture of symbols from all blocks of information bits, which results in a more similar channel quality for the blocks of information bits. A compressed ACK/NACK message corresponding to the blocks of information bits will thus be more accurate and the performance loss due to the ACK/NACK compression can be reduced.

摘要: The basic idea of the present invention is to not only design a frequency-selective precoder with respect to the channel properties but also to ensure that the time-domain spread is limited. Hence the energy of the time-domain impulse response of the frequency-selective precoder is concentrated. According to a first embodiment, the time-domain spread is limited by designing a precoder such that it allows smooth transitions in the frequency domain between the values of the precoder when the precoder provides a staircase function. The smooth transitions can either be achieved by lowpass filtering the frequency-domain representation, the staircase function, of the precoder or by designing the precoder such that the sharp jumps are replaced by slopes. According to a second embodiment, the time-domain spread is controlled. The control may be achieved by employing a time-domain parameterization to precisely control the introduced additional time-domain spread.

摘要: Embodiments herein include a method in a user equipment (UE) for transmitting uplink control information in time slots of a subframe over a radio channel to a radio base station. The uplink control information is comprised in a block of bits. The UE maps the block of bits to a sequence of complex valued modulation symbols. The UE block spreads the sequence across Discrete Fourier Transform Spread-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DFTS-OFDM) symbols. This is performed by applying a spreading sequence to the sequence of complex valued modulation symbols, to achieve a block spread sequence of complex valued modulation symbols. The UE further transforms the block-spread sequence, per DFTS-OFDM symbol. This is performed by applying a matrix that depends on a DFTS-OFDM symbol index and/or slot index to the block-spread sequence. The UE also transmits the block spread sequence, as transformed, over the radio channel to the radio base station.
