摘要: Scan modules are provided. A scan module includes a carrier, a first lens fixed to the carrier, a second lens movably connected to the carrier, and an optical sensor fixed to the carrier. The first lens detects light from a scan area through the first lens to the optical sensor along an optical path when the second lens is in a first position and out of the optical path. The second lens intervenes and alters the optical path when in a second position.

摘要: This invention provides a method for upgrading the network rate of a Passive Optical Network (PON), which mainly includes: upgrading the optical fiber line rate of the central office device, and adapting, by the network terminal device, the working rate of the upstream/downstream line automatically to the optical fiber line rate of the central office device according to a downstream data flow transmitted from the central office device. Using the method of this invention, the network rate of the PON can be upgraded without replacing the network terminal and without a manual intervention.

摘要: A screened subnet for interconnecting an intranet to the Internet includes first and second subnets. A first firewall provides a first level of protection to a portion of the first subnet and to the second subnet while a second firewall provides a second level of protection to the second subnet. A secured utility VLAN provides utility services for the portion of the first subnet and/or the second subnet. The secured utility VLAN is coupled to the screened subnet such that it enjoys an additional level of protection relative to the subnets and/or the portion thereof which it serves. In various embodiments thereof, the screened subnet is configured to include a single, shared, secured utility VLAN for servicing both the portion of the first subnet and the second subnet, or a pair of discrete secured utility VLANs for respectively servicing the portion of the first subnet and the second subnet.

摘要: A switching regulation system and control scheme efficiently enables driving multiple loads from a common energy storage element, such as an inductor. The control scheme operates to store energy in the energy storage element over a first portion of a cycle, such as by ramping up current through an inductor, according to energy requirements of the multiple loads. After storing the energy in the storage element during the first portion of the cycle, the stored energy is delivered consecutively to each of the multiple loads over a subsequent portion of the cycle.

摘要: The present invention provides improved line and load regulation of a switching-mode power converter (300) without requiring additional capacitors (255), either internally or externally, to stabilize the control loop. The present invention can provide this by integrating a digital compensator (375) with the pulse-width modulator (“PWM”) of the switching-mode power converter. Such a compensator (375) can include comparators (310 and 330), digital circuits (340), and resistors (215, 220, 320, and 325).

摘要: The present invention is a new solution of line and relay in an analog subscriber board, which has a less number of relays and can decrease the cost and save the space while realizing the basic functions in a voice network. The technical solution of the invention provides each subscriber with two relays to connect the subscriber line interface circuit, the subscriber line, the ring bus and the test bus, realizing the basic functions relevant to the talking, such as talking, ringing, etc. In order to add the auxiliary functions such as the testing function and the monitoring function, the subscriber lines are grouped, and at least one relay is supplemented in a subscriber group, the subscriber group relays together with above two subscriber relays will be used to connect the subscriber line interface circuit, the subscriber line, the ring bus and the test bus to perform the basic functions relevant to talking and the auxiliary functions such as testing, monitoring, etc.

摘要: A single-inductor dual-output buck converter and control method that facilitates power conversion by converting a single DC power source/supply into two separate DC outputs, each of which can be configured to provide a selected/desired voltage by selection of respective duty cycles. The topology of the inverter includes a pair of diodes or switches that can selectively re-circulate inductor current. The converter is generally operated at a fixed frequency with four stages of operation. A first and third stage of operation provide power to a first and second output, respectively. A second and fourth stage of operation re-circulate inductor current and can partially recharge a battery type power source. The power output for each stage (voltage and current) can be selectively obtained by computing and employing appropriate time periods for the stages of operation that correspond to appropriate duty cycles.

摘要: In order to precisely analyze thermal deformation of a substance which thermally shrinks over time, the amount of deformation of a substance is determined by separate steps of calculation of elasto-plastic deformation during temperature increase (step S12); calculation of creep deformation from the time when the temperature increase is completed till the time when the temperature decrease is started (step S14); and calculation of elasto-plastic deformation during the temperature decrease (step S16). When calculating the creep deformation, it is assumed that deformation due to the thermal shrinkage of the substance over time occurs simultaneous with the creep deformation, and strain rate is calculated as the time derivative of the total strain which is the sum of creep strain and the strain produced by thermal shrinkage. The creep deformation is then calculated by integrating the strain rate over the time from when the temperature increase is completed until the time when the temperature decrease is started.
