摘要： Systems and methods for locating and providing public mobile device charging stations are disclosed. One or more charging stations may be configured to charge a battery of a mobile device. A database may be configured to store location information of the one or more charging stations as well as mobile device location and security credential information of the one or more respective mobile devices. A server communicatively coupled with the one or more charging stations and the database, may be configured to determine a proximity of the one or more charging stations to a location of the mobile device. This determination may be based on the station location information and the mobile device location information. Based on the determined proximity, provide the station location information of the respective one or more charging stations to the mobile device. The charging station further provides photo and/or video surveillance security to verify a user.

摘要： Techniques for performing accurate and automatic head pose estimation are disclosed. According to one aspect of the techniques, head pose estimation is integrated with a scale-invariant head tracking method along with facial features detected from a located head in images. Thus the head pose estimation works efficiently even when there are large translational movements resulting from the head motion. Various computation techniques are used to optimize the process of estimation so that the head pose estimation can be applied to control one or more objects in a virtual environment and virtual character gaze control.

摘要： A solid state memory drive includes a first interface for receiving solid state memory cartridges; and a second interface for communicatively coupling the solid state memory drive unit with a host system through a drive bay configured to house a cassette tape drive. A host system then includes at least one drive bay configured to receive either the solid state memory drive or a tape cassette drive. A method includes removing a magnetic tape cassette drive from the drive bay; and inserting a solid state memory cartridge drive into the drive bay so as to communicatively interface the solid state memory cartridge drive and the host system.

The different experience may comprise a different set or ordering of songs, a different gameplay mechanism, and/or a different sets level data. For example, a game may vary the song list depending on whether the player has plugged in a simulated drum set or a simulated guitar to the game platform. Or, for example, a player may plug in a microphone to experience the game as a vocalist and be measured based on pitch matching, and then plug in a simulated drum set to experience the game as a drummer and be measured based on timing of drum pad strikes. In this way, a single game can be sold that allows users to select among a plurality of unique instrumental experiences.
