    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The present disclosure provides a method of receiving downlink channel and/or downlink reference signal on an unlicensed band. An LTE user equipment (UE) receives control information of a cell operating on an unlicensed band, and receives downlink channel and/or downlink reference signal transmitted in the cell according to the control information. According to the present disclosure, data can be properly received on an unlicensed band.

According to the present application, resources of category-2 services can be reused for receiving category-1 service data to satisfy requirements for low delay of the category-1 services and increase the utility efficiency of resources of the category-2 services.

The present disclosure discloses a method for detecting signals of a downlink control channel, including: determining, by a user equipment, an initial control resource set, and receiving common control information from resources specified in the initial control resource set before establishing a radio resource control (RRC) connection; after establishing the RRC connection, determining, by the user equipment, a first control resource set where a user-specific search space is located, and determining the user-specific search space from the first control resource set according to information sent by a base station and/or a user bandwidth capacity and/or a user service type; and detecting, by the user equipment, user control information in the user-specific search space determined. When the present disclosure is implemented, a lower transmission delay and higher transmission reliability can be achieved for a control channel.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for feeding back hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information. In the method provided by the present disclosure, an evolved Node B (eNB) transmits Downlink Assignment (DL-GRANT) within a time-frequency bundling window, which corresponds to an uplink subframe feeding back HARQ-ACK. A UE receives DL-GRANT scheduling downlink HARQ transmission in the time-frequency bundling window corresponding to respective uplink subframe for feeding back HARQ-ACK in turn, obtains a DL DAI in the DL-GRANT, and determines a mapping value of each DL DAI; then, maps HARQ-ACK bits of the time-frequency bundling window corresponding to respective uplink subframe for feeding back the HARQ-ACK to corresponding bits of a feedback bit sequence according to the mapping value of the DL DAI; and transmits the HARQ-ACK on an available uplink carrier. The present disclosure also provides a method for feeding back HARQ-ACK information. The UE transmits HARQ-ACK on an indicated carrier according to indication information of a base station. According to the method and apparatus provided by the present disclosure, efficiency for feeding back the HARQ-ACK can be increased and downlink peak rate of the UE can be ensured.

Methods and apparatuses for grid mapping are described. A method for operating a base station comprises configuring grid mapping patterns for a plurality of terminals, transmitting, to the plurality of terminals, the grid mapping patterns, receiving, from the plurality of terminals, information on which a grid mapping is performed based on the grid mapping patterns, and identifying data of the information corresponding to each of the plurality of terminals based on the grid mapping patterns. Therefore, the terminal can hold a low peak-to-average power ratio, and the power consumption can be effectively saved. The base station can complete signal detection in a moderate detection complexity by multi-terminal joint detection. The detection complexity and the performance are balanced.
