    摘要: Diagnosis of corruption in interrelated data entities uses a graph of nodes and edges. Datum nodes represent the data entities, relationship nodes represent the relationships among the data entities. The datum nodes are connected through their relationship nodes by the edges. When corruption is detected, the relationships are analyzed and each edge connecting a datum node to a relationship node is removed from the graph when the corresponding relationship is invalid. The datum nodes that remain connected to their relationship nodes form a subgraph and the corresponding data entities are considered correct. In one aspect, if more than one subgraph is formed, the datum nodes in the largest are used. In another aspect, the data entities and relationships are analyzed to create the graph when the data entities are assumed correct. The data entities may be data and metadata of various types that can be associated with the data.

    摘要: A method of modulating immune response in an animal is disclosed. Such a method comprises: interacting the immature dendritic cells from the animal with an antigen ex vivo so that the immature dendritic cells present the antigen on their surfaces, inducing maturation of the immature dendritic cells ex vivo, and contacting the mature dendritic cells ex vivo with a modulator comprising TRANCE, conservative variants thereof, fragments thereof, analogs or derivatives thereof, or a fusion protein comprising the amino acid sequence of TRANCE, conservative variants thereof, or fragments thereof. After contacting the modulator ex vivo, the mature dendritic cells are introduced into the animal. As a result, immune response in the animal towards the antigen is modulated relative to the immune response against the antigen in an animal in which dendritic cells did not interact with the antigen ex vivo, and did not contact a modulator ex vivo. Preferably, the method of the present invention results in increasing immune response towards the antigen in the animal.

The method comprises measuring the passive emissivity of a substance, using an imaging radiometer. It has been found that an emissivity image may be used to quantify the liquid content in a substance. The invented method allows for non-contact, rapid and continuous in-line measurements.

    摘要: Fixed frequency, fixed duration pulse streams are used to control power switches for one or more electrical motors of electrically powered vehicles or hybrid vehicles having one or more electric motors. The advantages of a pulse system are increased power efficiency and system simplicity over analog systems. The capability of system calibration with a single pulse allows the system to be used under any conditions, and real time adaptation to changes in conditions. Such system and methods provide much improved acceleration over other electrical systems, by making the best use of the coefficient of starting or static friction. The systems and methods provide a non slip traction control system, and the use of an off state in the pulse stream is superior to the use of braking systems for the same purpose, which waste power and cause mechanical wear. In addition, related computer program products are described.
