摘要: To provide a vesicle-containing composition wherein the stability is improved and the rate of releasing drug or perfume is sufficiently restricted during administration in vivo or application to the skin surface. Silica polymerization on the outer surfaces of vesicles is facilitated by adding a specifically structured water-soluble silane derivative to an aqueous composition containing the vesicles composed of a surfactant and mixing them together, and vesicle-silica composites having silica-coated outer surfaces can be obtained, resulting in the improved stability of the vesicle-containing composition as well as the improved effect of restricting the rate of releasing drug or perfume during administration in vivo or application to the skin surface.

Such an optical waveguide structure includes: an optical waveguide having two surfaces, a core layer including core portions and cladding portions each having a refractive index lower than that of each of the core portions, the core layer having two surfaces, and cladding layers provided so as to make contact with the two surfaces of the core layer and having a refractive index lower than that of each of the core portions; and conductor layers provided on the two surfaces of the optical waveguide. In the optical waveguide structure, each of the cladding layers is formed of a norbornene-based polymer as a major component thereof. Further, it is preferred that the norbornene-based polymer is composed of molecules each represented by the following formula 1 as a major component thereof: wherein R is an alkyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 10, “a” is an integer of 0 to 3, “b” is an integer of 1 to 3, and “p”/“q” is 20 or less.

摘要: A printer can print to paper with a narrow width while maintaining a print format with good legibility without changing the application program and printer driver installed on the host computer. The control method of a printer that prints based on print data 5 sent from a host computer 3 has a step S105 of extracting data attributes contained in the print data 5 and assigning the print data 5 to data segment areas for each data attribute; a step of setting the data segment areas to specific printing areas based on the data attribute; an actual print data generating step (steps S122, S107, S133, S134, S111) of converting the print data 5 assigned to the data segment areas to actual print data according to the data attributes; and a printing step S113 of printing the actual print data in the printing areas.
