    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a first conveying path on which paper enters between a photosenitive drum and a transfer unit facing the drum and leaves there. A lower unit in an opening/closing unit holds, on the lower side of the first conveying path, a lower resist roller in a resist roller pair, belt conveyor, lower paper discharge roller in a paper discharge roller pair and transfer unit. The lower unit is movable in a direction away from the photosensitive drum so as to open the first paper conveying path. An apparatus body includes a paper storage section having a double function of providing a spacing for allowing the opening/closing motion of the lower unit and storing image-printed paper therein. The apparatus body has a second conveying path connected to the first conveying path and guiding the image-formed paper to the paper storage section so as to allow the image-formed paper to be stored in the paper storage section in a reversed state.

The sheets of paper discharged from the image forming apparatus are guided to the movable unit by a movable guide. The movable unit has a feeding unit for feeding the guided sheets into the tray unit. The feeding unit is movable between a feeding position adjacent to the tray unit and a remote position remote from the tray unit. By a shifting mechanism, the feeding unit is moved to the feeding position when the guided sheets are being fed, and is moved to the remote position when the movable member moves.

    摘要: According to this invention, a copying condition such as a masking or trimming area is set in advance by an electronic notebook. When the electronic notebook is loaded on a copying machine, the preset copying condition is transmitted from the electronic notebook to the copying machine. The copying machine performs copying in accordance with the transmitted copying condition. As a result, the electronic notebook and its exclusive IC card can be used as part of the operation panel of the copying machine main body, thereby simplifying the operation panel of the copying machine main body. Since the electronic notebook is portable, the copying condition can be input restfully at an arbitrary place. A telephone number list and a memo list stored in the electronic notebook can be printed out at a high speed. A blue portion of an original not to be reproduced in a copy can be discriminated. Writing of a mark and the like, trimming, and masking can be performed by using the discriminated content.

    摘要: A drive unit for a copying machine comprises a motor for driving a photoconductive drum, the developing rollers, the fixing rollers, and a cooling fan. When a copying operation takes place, the motor is rotated in the forward direction, whereby the drum and the other components are driven simultaneously. At this time, a cleaning blade is brought into contact with the drum, thereby removing residual toner therefrom. After completion of the copying operation, the cleaning blade is disengaged from the drum, and the motor is reversed. At this time, by means of a one-way clutch, only the drum is allowed to rotate in the reverse direction. After the drum is rotated reversely through a predetermined angle, only the cooling fan is allowed to operate, this being due to the action of a dog clutch.

    摘要: An electronic copying machine for copying an image on a document, onto a sheet, includes a deelectrifier for electrically peeling off a sheet, on which a toner image has been formed, from a photosensitive drum, and a peel-off tape which is engaged with a sheet, to mechanically peel it from the photosensitive drum. After a copying operation, a sheet is stacked in a stacking tray which is selectively moved to a position at which it is engaged with or not engaged with the peel-off tape. During a second copying operation, after a position-setting operation is performed in the stacking tray, the sheet is conveyed to a transfer position of the photosensitive drum. After the second transfer operation, the sheet is selectively peeled off by the peel-off tape, in accordance with the position preset by the stacking tray.
