摘要： A multilayer color photographic sensitive material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a support base and a silver halide emulsion layer. The material contains at least one layer containing a high boiling solvent and an oil-soluble coupler, wherein the volume ratio of solvent to coupler is 1/2 or less, and a compound represented by the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein X is a hydrogen atom or an acetyl group, R is an aryl group, and R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group. The material produces sharp images even though it contains a low oil/coupler ratio. Furthermore, there is no retardation of development.

摘要： A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one coupler represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## The substituents are disclosed in the specification. The silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material in which a specific class of 1-phenyl-3-anilono-4-phyenylthio-5-pyrazolone type two-equivalent magenta color image forming couplers and a specific class of 1-phenyl-3-pyrazolidone derivatives are used in association with each other can provide a magenta color image of high sensitivity without increasing the fog level. A method for developing the material is also disclosed.

摘要： The present invention provides a processing method which allows a silver halide color photographic material to be sufficiently desilvered and minimizes the rise in the formation of bleaching fog or stain even when it is processed in a short period of time. A novel process for the processing of a silver halide color photographic material comprising at least silver halide emulsion layer on a support which comprises subjecting the silver halide color photographic material to color development, and then processing the silver halide color photographic material with a processing solution having a bleaching capacity is provided, characterized in that said emulsion layer comprises tabular silver halide grains having �100! major faces and a silver chloride content of 50 to 100 mol % and said processing solution having a bleaching capacity contains at least one ferric complex salt of a compound represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 each represent a hydrogen atom, aliphatic group, aromatic group or hydroxyl group; and W represents a divalent bridging group containing carbon atoms; and M.sub.1, M.sub.2, M.sub.3 and M.sub.4 each represent a hydrogen atom or cation. The total coated amount of silver in the silver halide color photographic material is in the range of 2.0 to 8.0 g/m.sup.2 per m.sup.2 of light-sensitive material. The compound represented by the general formula (I) comprises an �S,S! optical isomer as determined about the carbon atoms to which R.sub.1 and R.sub.4 are bonded in a proportion of not less than 70%.

The color developer comprises a thiourea compound represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 each represent a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkylene group, provided that two or more of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, and R.sub.4 each do not represent a hydrogen atom at the same time; at least one pair of R.sub.1 and R.sub.3, and R.sub.2 and R.sub.4, together may bond to form a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring; or at least one pair of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, together may bond to form a ring.

摘要： A method of processing silver halide photographic material comprises the steps of passing a belt for conveying an imagewise exposed silver halide photographic material through the processing tanks, carrying the silver halide photographic material on the belt and processing the silver halide photographic material conveyed by the belt in the processing tanks while replenishing the tanks with constant amounts of replenishing solutions respectively, wherein the method comprises detecting a level of developing solution in development tank and supplying the development tank with an additional fresh developing tank solution or overflow solution from the development tank when said level of developing solution in the tank falls to a predetermined level. This method makes it possible to reduce an amount of the processing solution waste to be drained from the processing machine.
