    摘要: A rotation controller performs bit rotation in units of 2 bits for 8-bit data supplied from a common data bus in accordance with a mode selection signal from a mode selector and a column selection state of a column decoder and outputs the 8-bit data. The data bit-rotated by the rotation controller is supplied to a RAM via first, second, and third I/O gate blocks each having gates of 8 bits connected to a corresponding one of first, second, and third 8-bit column arrays of the RAM. First to third gate controllers are selectively activated by the column decoder. When a 6-bit write mode is selected by the mode selection signal from the mode selector, the first gate controller activates only gates of 6 upper bits in the first I/O gate block, the second gate controller activates only gates of 2 lower bits in the first I/O gate block and gates of 4 upper bits in the second I/O gate block, and the third gate controller activates only gates of 4 lower bits in the second I/O gate block and gates of 2 upper bits in the third I/O gate block.

    摘要: A low cost, compact ink jet recording apparatus effectively uses a single drive source for controlling paper feed and discharge operations. The apparatus comprises a feed mechanism for feeding a sheet to be printed, discharge rollers for discharging the printed sheet, a moving mechanism for engaging and disengaging the discharge rollers, and a single drive source for operating the feed mechanism, the discharge rollers and the moving mechanism. The apparatus increases sheet feeding reliability by disengaging the discharge rollers during printing. Because the sheet feed mechanism, moving mechanism and discharge rollers are operated by a single drive source, a simpler structure is possible.

    摘要: An ink jet recording apparatus comprises: at least one ink jet head to emit a recording ink; main and sub ink tanks to store the ink which should be supplied to the head; a negative pressure generating device to generate a negative pressure to supply the ink from the sub ink tank into the head under the suction action; a pressure sensor, provided in the ink passage, for detecting whether the recording ink substantially remains or not in the sub ink tank when the negative pressure generating device operates. In response to a pressure variation in the ink passage, the pressure sensor determines that no ink substantially remains in the sub ink tank when the pressure in the ink passage is higher than a preset value, thereby generating a detection signal to supplement a new ink into the tank to a control circuit. Therefore, the absence of ink in the tank can be certainly detected and the ink can be emitted in good conditions, so that the recording can be smoothly performed by a simple, cheap and small-sized apparatus.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an interval timer device for a camera, particularly an interval timer for producing a release signal for operating the shutter release operation of a camera at a certain predetermined frequency and a charge signal for performing the charge operation of the flash device a certain predetermined time before the release signal is produced. In the case of this kind of the interval timer device, because the flash device has been charged a certain predetermined time before the release signal is produced, the flash time can be emitted without fail at the time of photographing. However, because the above device is charged independently of the object brightness, even in case the object brightness is so high that the flash photography is not necessary, unnecessary power is often consumed. In accordance with the present invention, the interval timer device produces the above charge signal only in case of a low object brightness, so as to eliminate the above shortcomings.
